PFL signs Muhammad Ali’s grandson Biaggio Ali Walsh

The PFL has signed Muhammad Ali’s grandson Biaggio Ali Walsh. The Professional Fighters League signed Walsh, 24, a former collegiate football player at the University of California, to an amateur contract to compete in its tournament finals event this November.

Brendan Schaub is responding after Dana White went off on his comments about UFC 279. It all began back on Friday, September 9th when Khamzat Chimaev missed weight big time prior to his scheduled welterweight main event match-up with Nate Diaz at UFC 279. Chaos ensued and fights were changed so the Saturday night fights in Vegas could continue.

Khamzat Chimaev is throwing shade at Khabib Nurmagomedov for his recent comments about UFC 279. ‘Borz’ (12-0 MMA) recently missed weight by 7.5 pounds for his fight against Nate Diaz (22-13 MMA), causing a last-minute shuffle of the UFC 279 main card.

The UFC has parted ways with another four fighters according to recent reports from @UFCRosterWatch on ‘Twitter’. It should also be noted that it has not been confirmed if all of these moves were outright releases or simply contracts which were not renewed.

Anderson Silva is set to box Jake Paul on October 29th, and while ‘The Spider’ definitely represents the toughest test to date for Paul, there’s no ignoring the age difference between the two men. Jake Paul is a spry 25 years old, while Anderson Silva is getting a bit long in the tooth at 47. Team Paul has clearly made a calculated decision that his youth will give him the edge needed to defeat a G.O.A.T. of combat sports. We’ll see how their math adds up once the event rolls around, as Silva has been looking remarkably good in the three boxing bouts he’s had since leaving the UFC two years ago.

For the last couple of years, Alex Volkanovski has been proving himself as one of the best fighters in all of mixed martial arts. The reigning UFC featherweight champion has seen off the challenge of everyone the promotion has put in his way including The Korean Zombie, Brian Ortega and even Max Holloway.

From trying to fight Paulo Costa at the UFC Performance Institute to his antics leading to the UFC’s press conference getting cancelled, the Chechen sensation certainly wasn’t holding back.

Rodriguez was supposed to face Kevin Holland at a 180lbs catchweight bout, which is a fight that was years in the making. However, after Khamzat Chimaev missed weight badly, the UFC scrambled to change opponents, and right away the promotion wanted to make Chimaev-Holland. Although it was a big fight, Rodriguez says Holland messaged him to say he won’t take the fight unless the UFC takes care of him.
