UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal has confirmed the news that he has split from First Round Management. After a year away from the Octagon, Jorge Masvidal will return at UFC 287 to battle Gilbert Burns. At the age of 38, many see this as his last opportunity to make a run for the top of the division.

Sanchez was supposed to have his UFC retirement fight back in May of 2021 against Donald Cerrone, yet Sanchez was released from the UFC due to his relationship with former champion, Joshua Fabia. The exit was not a good one, but Sanchez left Fabia and is now set for his BKFC debut at KnuckleMania 3 on February 17.

A featherweight banger is set to headline a UFC Fight Night card as Max Holloway is set to face Arnold Allen. According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Holloway and Allen have verbally agreed to headline the April 15 card. As of right now, contracts have not been issued or signed. The location of the event is also not announced.

It was to be his last fight under the Bellator banner.

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou isn’t jumping the gun on a Tyson Fury fight in 2023, but he’d like to get a deal in writing before “The Gypsy King” battles Oleksandr Usyk. Ngannou and Fury have expressed interest in throwing down at some point. Fury has laid out the rules for the bout, which calls for a boxing match, but with 4-ounce gloves. He suggested International Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson serve as the special referee.

Mike Perry’s wish might just come true if things once again go awry before Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are scheduled to collide. Back in January, Paul took to social media to claim that Fury didn’t want to fight him and that it may be Perry’s lucky year. Ultimately, Paul vs. Fury has been booked for February 26 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With that said, it never hurts to have a plan B.
