Luke Rockhold issues statement after suffering broken teeth in BKFC 41 loss against Mike Perry (Video)

Luke Rockhold was quick to speak out following his TKO loss to Mike Perry at BKFC 41. Rockhold made his bare knuckle boxing debut against Perry. In the second round, Rockhold felt something was off and he brought the state of his jaw to referee Dan Miragliotta’s attention. The fight was waved off and Perry’s bare knuckle boxing record improved to 3-0. This is Perry’s first stoppage win in bare knuckle boxing.

Former UFC titleholders Rafael dos Anjos and Cody Garbrandt have their next fights booked for the summer. Rafael dos Anjos vs. Vicente Luque For former UFC Lightweight Champion dos Anjos, he is set to collide with number 10 ranked UFC welterweight Vicente Luque on July 15, MMAFighting.com reports. The fight will headline the card, which will take place one week after UFC 290. The card is expected to be held in Las Vegas.

Mike Perry claims he’s a free agent and is open to trading hands with Conor McGregor. The former UFC fighter headlined BKFC 41 inside the 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado. He shared the ring with Luke Rockhold, a former UFC Middleweight Champion. In the second stanza, Rockhold looked at referee Dan Miragliotta and pointed to his jaw. After taking a brief look, Miragliotta stopped the fight.

Jorge Masvidal is defending Nate Diaz after the Stockton native was seen on video choking out a man who is allegedly a TikTok star. Diaz was charged with second-degree battery following a brawl on Bourbon Street. The former UFC star attended the Misfits Boxing 6 event, which was held inside the XULA Convocation Center in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 21. Diaz was the center of attention despite not competing on the card, as he threw a water bottle at reality TV star Chase DeMoor.

The Octagon remained in Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 72 event, an eleven-bout fight card headlined by Song Yadong vs. Ricky Simon. Tonight’s bantamweight main event proved to be a coming out party for Song Yadong. ‘The Kung Fu Kid’ was able to dominate Ricky Simon in the standup and did a great job with his takedown defense throughout the course of the fight. After dropping Simon in the final second of round four, Yadong quickly picked up the TKO finish just 1:10 into the fifth and final round. The Team Alpha Male product called out both Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera after his win.

Brady Hiestand knew he had the cardio advantage over Batgerel Danaa and thought the longer the fight went, the better it was for him. Entering the fight at UFC Vegas 71, Hiestand was the underdog but was confident he had all the tools to win. In the first round, Hiestand thought he had a lot of success and went to his corner thinking he won the opening round. In the second round, Danaa dropped him and dominated the round, so Hiestand thought it was 1-1 but still wasn’t going to leave it to the judges so knew he needed to get a stoppage.
