Alex Volkanovski is none too pleased with two of the judges who scored the UFC Vegas 74 headliner. This past Saturday night, Amir Albazi and Kai Kara-France did battle inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both men put on a show for all five rounds, but the conclusion of UFC Vegas 74 left a sour taste in the mouths of fans.

UFC President Dana White continues to push for a showdown between Jon Jones and Tyson Fury. Jones is the UFC Heavyweight Champion, while Fury is the WBC Heavyweight Champion. Of course, Jones is a renowned mixed martial artist, while Fury is an elite boxer. The two recently went back and forth on social media, which stemmed from Joe Rogan claiming Fury wouldn’t make it out of a room if he was locked in with Jon Jones.

Israel Adesanya is sticking up for his teammate following UFC Vegas 74. Kai Kara-France was featured in the main event. He went one-on-one with Amir Albazi. The fight went the distance and it ended in controversy. The score totals were read and two of the three judges scored the fight for Albazi. Most fight fans and pundits thought Kara-France should’ve been awarded the victory.

This one went the distance and two of the three judges scored the fight for Albazi and he was awarded the split nod.

The Octagon remained in Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 74 event, a 13-bout fight card headlined by Kai Kara-France vs. Amir Albazi. Tonight’s men’s flyweight main event went the full twenty-five minutes. It was a back-and-forth affair that many fans and analysts had tied 2-2 headed into the fifth and final round. Although Kai Kara-France appeared to land the better volume of strikes throughout the final five minutes, it did not prove to be enough to get him the victory. Two of the three judges in attendance scored the contest in favor of Albazi, who walked away with the split decision win.

Hardy was facing Alexander Flores as part of the Dallas Enforcers Team Combat League match at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. In the 17th round – of 18 rounds – Hardy got dropped and when he got back up he had some success against Flores.

Javier Mendez has revealed that Cain Velasquez is back home at the American Kickboxing Academy. The former UFC heavyweight champion has had a rough few years to put it lightly. Velasquez last competed in February 2019, facing Francis Ngannou. In that outing, ‘The Predator’ defeated the former champion by first-round knockout. Following the loss, Velasquez opted to retire.
