The unbeaten bare-knuckle boxer in question has finally offered up his side of the story. Alberto Blas, the fighter in question, initially offered up a statement that he put out after crossing over to BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing from BKFC. While still the reigning champion of BKFC at the time of his departure, Blas addressed what he called unfortunate accusations made against him in a statement released by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship after the Cuban left the company.

Colby Thicknesse is looking to get his first UFC win and prove he belongs at UFC Perth. Thicknesse made his debut on short notice at UFC 312 when he dropped a decision to Aleksandre Topuria. After the fight, the UFC quickly told him he would get another fight and is glad he’s fighting back home in Australia at UFC Perth.

Jones announced his retirement from MMA in June following seven months of negotiations with the UFC to make a title unification bout with Tom Aspinall.

This will mark Paul’s second fight since defeating Mike Tyson last year by unanimous decision, and directly after outpointing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. earlier this year.

Rafael Fiziev is out of UFC Rio and he’s explained why that is the case. Fiziev was expected to share the Octagon with former UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira. The bout was supposed to take place inside Farmasi Arena on Oct. 11. It was revealed that Fiziev was pulled from the UFC Rio card due to an injury and Mateusz Gamrot has stepped up.

Ronda Rousey recently said she’s finding her love for MMA again after posting training videos, but one UFC Hall of Famer advises fans to not be fooled. Rousey has been out of pro MMA competition since she was stopped by Amanda Nunes in 48 seconds back in late 2016. After she dominated the women’s bantamweight division and secured a perfect record of 12-0, “Rowdy” suffered back-to-back finishing losses before transitioning to the world of pro wrestling. Rousey hasn’t been under WWE contract since 2023 and she got fans buzzing with her MMA training videos.

In the next few weeks, we will see the release of The Smashing Machine – a movie based on the documentary of the same name from 2002, which itself is based on the life and career of Mark Kerr. Dwayne Johnson, known by pro wrestling fans as The Rock, will be playing the role of Kerr.
