Max Holloway has explained why he didn’t callout Alex Volkanovski following his knockout win over The Korean Zombie at UFC Singapore. Holloway (25-7 MMA) collided with Chan Sung Jung (17-8 MMA) in the headliner of today’s event in Singapore. The result was a third-round KO victory for ‘Blessed’ (see that here), with The Korean Zombie subsequently announcing his retirement.

Alex Caceres suffered a broken arm in the first round of his fight with Giga Chikadze at today’s UFC Singapore event. Caceres (21-14 MMA) was returning to action for the first time since scoring a unanimous decision victory over Daniel Pineda back in June of this year. That win had marked ‘Bruce Leeroy’s’ second in a row, as he had previously earned a first-round TKO victory over Julian Erosa in December of 2022.

The Octagon returned to Singapore for today’s UFC Fight Night event, a thirteen-bout fight card headlined by Max Holloway vs. The Korean Zombie. The highly anticipated featherweight main event proved to be a thrilling slugfest for as long as it lasted. Max Holloway was able to hurt Chan Sung Jung on a number of occasions in the opening two rounds, but in classic Zombie fashion, the Korean stayed in the fight and kept on swinging. That was until early in round three when a perfectly timed right hand from ‘Blessed’ landed flush on the chin of ‘TKZ’ and put him away for good.
