Francis Ngannou recently weighed in on some recent reports centred on him potentially taking on a fight with Jake Paul in less than two weeks’ time. Gervonta Davis was initially slated to fight Paul and while not formally out, Tank Davis may not make it to the ring for the planned November 14th bout  after a recent round of allegations centred on domestic violence came out regarding Davis. Some loose reports regarding possible Davis replacements mentioned former Paul foe Nate Diaz, Terence Crawford, Ryan Garcia, and Ngannou himself.

Valentina Shevchenko weighed in on the recent discourse centred on Joe Rogan and the disparaging comments Ronda Rousey recently made about him. Rousey made these comments while speaking with a friend of Rogan, Bert Kreischer, on Kreischer’s podcast recently. The influential figure in women’s MMA made comments after Rogan’s name was brought up about how the JRE host was simply a fan who had a large audience and that he has no discernible fighting-related expertise. The statements have since blown up on social media with several influential figures in the mixed martial arts world weighing in on the negative remarks, including one of the greatest women’s MMA fighters of all time. Referencing the former UFC bantamweight champion’s comments about the promotion’s stalwart broadcaster, via her X account @BulletValentina, Shevchenko said,

Kyoji Horiguchi is making his return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship at UFC Qatar, and his former two-time opponent Sergio Pettis has weighed in on Horiguchi’s octagon return. The former UFC flyweight title challenger, as well as former Rizin and Bellator MMA bantamweight champion, is returning to the UFC after nine years away, as Horiguchi clashes with Tagir Ulanbekov on November 22nd. The pair were supposed to fight in June before Horiguchi withdrew, but the rebooking here will allow the Japanese standout to still make his UFC return in 2025.

The UFC was back in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday for a decent UFC Vegas 110 card. In the main event, Steve Garcia took on David Onama in a pivotal fight at featherweight. Entering the bout, Garcia and Onama were both considered dark horses of the division, as the winner would get a big push up the ranks. In the end, it was Garcia who won the fight by first-round TKO. WBA lightweight boxing champion Gervonta Davis was scheduled to clash against polarizing star Jake Paul on November 14th in Miami. But just weeks before the fight, Davis was involved in a civil lawsuit filed by his former girlfriend, alleging multiple violent incidents and kidnapping.

Magomed Ankalaev’s manager has made quite the claim about his fighter’s condition prior to a crushing defeat in his Alex Pereira rematch. Ankalaev and Pereira met for a second time in the main event of UFC 320 back in October. Ankalaev was hoping to snatch his second victory over “Poatan,” but it wasn’t meant to be on the night. Pereira scored a first-round TKO finish to reclaim the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.

A UFC Hall of Famer isn’t buying into the possibility of Jake Paul vs. Francis Ngannou. Paul’s team is reportedly exploring options to replace Gervonta “Tank” Davis for his next opponent. Davis is facing a civil suit alleging domestic battery and kidnapping. Mike Coppinger of Ring Magazine reported that Ngannou is one of the names that has been discussed for a potential showdown with Paul.
