It was a surprise given Rozenstruik was a top-10 heavyweight and just had his two-fight winning streak snapped.

In the co-main event of UFC 312, the women’s strawweight title is up for grabs as Weili Zhang defends his belt against Tatiana Suarez. Heading into the fight, Zhang is -113 while the challenger is also -113 as the title fight is a pick’em on FanDuel. Ahead of the scrap, BJPENN.com reached out to several pro-fighters to get their predictions for the strawweight title fight. The pros believe Suarez is destined to be a champ and will defeat Zhang as they think her wrestling and strength will be too much for the strawweight queen.

One high-level UFC contender believes Tatiana Suarez will dominate Zhang Weili in their title fight. Suarez will challenge Weili for the UFC Women’s Strawweight Championship this Saturday. The two will collide inside the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia in the co-main event of UFC 312. Weili will be looking for her third successful title defense in her second run with the 115-pound gold. This will be Suarez’s first crack at UFC hardware.

UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping believes he knows what Sean Strickland has to do in order to sway the judges for his rematch with Dricus du Plessis. The first matchup between Strickland and du Plessis went down to the wire. Neither man could gain a clear advantage over the other before the final horn sounded. In the end, du Plessis won the fight and the UFC Middleweight Championship via split decision.

Dominick Cruz is out of his UFC Seattle co-main event against Rob Font. Cruz was supposed to have his retirement fight against Font in an intriguing bantamweight bout. However, on Wednesday, Cageside Press reported that Cruz suffered an injury and is out of his fight against Font. Following the report, BJPENN.com was able to confirm with sources close to the situation that Cruz did indeed suffer an injury which forced him to withdraw from the contest.

UFC flyweight contender Brandon Royval has pulled out of his March return against Manel Kape. ‘Raw Dawg’ hasn’t been seen in the cage since an October clash with Tatsuro Taira. The Japanese contender entered the cage a staggering 16-0, while Brandon Royval was fresh off a win over former champion Brandon Moreno in February. In the main event of UFC Vegas 98, the former title challenger earned a split-decision win.

Back for the first time since a submission loss to Dricus du Plessis last fall, Israel Adesanya faced Nassourdine Imavov. ‘The Sniper’ entered the bout riding a three-fight winning streak, last scoring a decision win over Brendan Allen in September.

A video went viral on X on Wednesday showing Lee attempting to throw a flying knee and then getting dropped. When this happened is uncertain, and how it got out is also unknown, but the clip clearly showed Lee getting dropped and stumbling from the big punch.

Brandon Royval will not be facing Manel Kape on March 1st. The pivotal flyweight matchup was set to headline a UFC Fight Night card inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unfortunately, that fight will have to take place at another time. Royval has revealed that he is injured and will be unable to fight on the contracted date.
