Henry Cejudo has confirmed that he would be interested in fighting former UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan. While he may have retired back in May 2020 after his win over Dominick Cruz, Henry Cejudo has still been an ever-present member of the UFC family since then. “Triple C” has flirted with the idea of coming out of retirement on several occasions and in the last few weeks, those talks have intensified as we move closer towards the two-year anniversary of him riding off into the sunset.

Henry Cejudo has hit back at Conor McGregor following the Irishman’s recent taunt towards the man known as “Triple C”. While he may not have fought since back in May 2020 when he successfully defended the UFC bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz, there’s still an intriguing aura that surrounds Henry Cejudo. In addition to being one of the very few two-weight world champions in UFC history, the Olympic hero also has dreams of going one step further by claiming a third world title in the UFC. Of course, the fact that he’s retired serves as quite the obstacle for him, but that didn’t stop the 34-year-old from calling Alexander Volkanovski out when Max Holloway had to withdraw from their trilogy fight.

However, after Max Holloway withdrew his name from a trilogy fight with Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 272, Cejudo (16-2 MMA), threw his name into the mix. Apparently a title shot against Volkanovski would be enough to bring ‘Triple C’ out of retirement.

UFC analyst Daniel Cormier blasted Henry Cejudo for training with Jon Jones, and “Bones” has responded to the criticism of his former rival. Jones was recently kicked out of Team Jackson-Wink following an alleged domestic battery incident at a hotel in Las Vegas following his Hall of Fame induction ceremony back in September ahead of UFC 266. With Jones no longer part of the team, at least until he cleans his act up, he has admitted that he is now looking into other gyms to potentially join, and one of those options appears to be Fight Ready. This past week, photos emerged of Jones training at the camp alongside the former UFC champion Cejudo and alongside UFC middleweight Eryk Anders as he looked to be enjoying Fight Ready. However, while Jones might like the move, there are others who do not like it.
