UFC CEO Dana White has reacted to Brian Ortega bouncing back after near-disaster against Yair Rodriguez. During fighter introductions for his UFC Mexico City fight against “El Pantera,” Ortega appeared to roll his ankle while warming up. He then had had a shaky opening round, which saw his nose get busted up by Yair. Ortega was able to settled down and secured an arm triangle choke to force the submission in the third round.

The highly anticipated men’s flyweight main event proved to be a thrilling twenty-five-minute affair. Brandon Moreno got off to a strong start in the opening two rounds, but Brandon Royval stormed back in the final fifteen minutes of the fight. ‘Raw Dawg’ utilized forward pressure and a plethora of strikes to ultimately get the better of ‘The Assassin Baby’, earning a well-deserved split decision victory.

Heading into the rematch, Rodriguez is a slight -158 favorite while ‘T-City’ is a +124 underdog on FanDuel. Ahead of the scrap, reached out to several pro fighters to make their picks for the featherweight fight at UFC Mexico City. In their first fight back in July 2021 Rodriguez won in the first round due to a shoulder injury suffered by Ortega. However, in the rematch, the pros are actually going with the underdog in Ortega to pull off the upset.
