The fighter-turned-comedian has compared it to Conor McGregor’s early winning streak. ‘The Baddy’ recently competed at UFC London last weekend against Kazula Vargas. After dealing with some early adversity, Pimblett secured a submission to win near the end of the first round. The victory was his second straight in the Vendramini in September 2021.

Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA) is preparing himself for a UFC comeback after a broken ankle which he suffered during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA). It was at UFC 264, in July of 2021, where McGregor went down to defeat against Poirier and suffered his injury. Poirier has been victorious in 2 of the 3 fights between the two.

With that, many thought it opened up the door for McGregor to get a title shot which Islam doesn’t see happening, but if it does, he doesn’t think it ends well for the Irishman.

Rafael dos Anjos is making it known that he would like the UFC to book a fight between him and Conor McGregor. A Dos Anjos (31-13 MMA) vs McGregor (22-6 MMA) fight was scheduled way back in March of 2016 at UFC 196. The bout never happened as ‘RDA’ had to withdraw because of a foot injury. It would be Nate Diaz (21-13 MMA) who took his place and won by submission in the second round over McGregor.
