However, Jake Paul would ultimately land the better volume of strikes throughout the course of the fight and walked away with the split decision victory.

Adam D Martin - November 14, 2021

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul declined a rematch with Tyron Woodley, saying that “by the time he got the tattoo we had already moved on.” Paul defeated Woodley via split decision in a high-profile boxing match that took place at the end of the summer. It was a close fight, but ultimately Paul was more active throughout the contest and won the fight on the judges’ scorecards. Immediately after being announced as the loser of the fight, Woodley told Paul in the ring that he wanted to have a rematch. The deal was that if Woodley got the tattoo for losing to Paul that he would get to fight him a second time. Woodley eventually got the tattoo of “I Love Jake Paul” tattooed onto his finger, but by the time he got the tattoo, Paul had already moved on from him.

Jake Paul claims Kamaru Usman is past his prime and would be 'light work' if they were to box

Ever since Paul knocked out Ben Askren he has called out several UFC fighters and that only increased after he beat Tyron Woodley. One name he has mentioned was Kamaru Usman as he wanted to fight a current UFC champ. Usman, responded to Paul saying he would beat him up but now after UFC 268, Paul believes the fight would be easy as he didn’t think highly of his performance.

Tommy and Tyson Fury send warning to Jake Paul: “Camp Sparta has begun!”

Adam D Martin - November 9, 2021

Tommy and Tyson Fury sent a warning to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul ahead of their upcoming fight, announcing that “Camp Sparta has begun!” Tommy Fury steps into the ring next month when he takes on Paul in what is likely going to be the toughest fight of Paul’s boxing career. Although Paul does have wins over the likes of former UFC fighters Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren on his resume, Fury is an actual boxer so this would be a much bigger win if he gets it. Of course, that isn’t going to be easy to do, because Fury is one heck of a boxer himself. Not only is he young and talented, but he is also brothers with Tyson Fury, who is one of the best boxers in the world. So Paul is going to have an uphill climb, and the Furys want to let him know that.

Adam D Martin - November 7, 2021

UFC president Dana White shot down the idea of Kamaru Usman boxing Canelo Alvarez, saying that “he don’t want to fight Canelo.” Usman had been saying all throughout fight week that, with a win over Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 268, he wants to face the boxing pound-for-pound great Alvarez next. On Saturday night, both Usman and Alvarez competed in their respective sports. Usman defeated Covington via unanimous decision, while Alvarez defeated Caleb Plant via knockout. It’s only natural, then, that Usman will continue to chase this matchup against Alvarez, especially since both fighters just fought and don’t have their next match booked.

Covington and Usman, who will square off for the second time this weekend with the UFC welterweight title on the line, are set to go up against Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on the same night. Based on what went down when it was Canelo vs UFC in 2019, we’d say there’s going to be some talk about comparisons.

Kamaru Usman explains callout of Canelo Alvarez: “It's not about money, it's about what gets me out of bed, what gets me scared”

Adam D Martin - November 3, 2021

Kamaru Usman explained his callout of Canelo Alvarez, saying “it’s not about money, it’s about what gets me out of bed, what gets me scared.” Usman takes on archrival Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 268 this Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. For Usman, this represents another massive fight for him in his MMA career. Since entering the UFC in 2015, Usman is a perfect 14-0, and if he beats Covington to go 15-0, it would start putting him into the upper-echelon of MMA fighters who have ever lived. But even though he still has plenty of more potential opponents to fight in the UFC welterweight division, Usman is looking big. And when it comes to combat sports, it doesn’t get much bigger than Canelo Alvarez.
