Originally coming onto the scene as Conor McGregor‘s jiu-jitsu coach, Danis quickly began making a name of his own. In 2017, the submission ace signed with Bellator.

Greg Hardy made the most of his last-minute opportunity against Hasim Rahman Jr. Rahman was expected to take on MMA legend Vitor Belfort in a boxing match this past weekend inside Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Belfort was forced to pull out of the bout after testing positive for COVID-19. Hardy stepped up as a replacement opponent and he had a significant size advantage, weighing 94 pounds heavier than Rahman.

Anthony Taylor wasn’t afraid to shoot his shot, and it looks like he’s being rewarded for his efforts. Taylor was featured on a card headlined by boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and popular YouTuber Deji. During the pre-fight press conference hyping up the event, Taylor went after Mayweather verbally, looking for a future matchup. The two then showed mutual respect.

KSI and Dillon Danis will settle their beef in the boxing ring as it was announced this evening that the pair will meet on January 14th. The news comes just a day after KSI and Danis had an altercation at the Misfits 003 boxing weigh-ins. Danis, who rose to fame as Conor McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach, crashed yesterday’s event and got into a scuffle with the owner and face of the upstart promotion, YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI. As seen in the video below, Danis hit KSI with a drink and what appeared to be a jab to the face.

Dillon Danis got into multiple altercations during a weigh-in for Misfits Boxing 3 earlier today. The jiu-jitsu artist has been out of the Bellator cage since a submission win over Max Humphrey. That win moved Danis forward to 2-0 in his MMA career, but he hasn’t seemed that interested in fighting in the sport anyway. He’s since targeted a move to boxing.

Greg Hardy and Hasim Rahman Jr. went face-to-face ahead of their boxing match on Saturday. Hardy and Rahman Jr. are set to meet on KSI’s Misfits 003 card in Austin, Texas. Originally, Rahman Jr. was supposed to headline the event against Vitor Belfort but the former UFC fighter was forced out of the matchup after testing positive for COVID-19. Another former UFC fighter then stepped in as Hardy took the fight on less than a week’s notice.

On Thursday, Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia took to social media to announce they will be fighting one another sometime in 2023 in Las Vegas. It’s also fight both men have wanted for quite some time now, as they have taken multiple shots at one another.

Greg Hardy will have his second pro boxing fight on Saturday. Misfits boxing – which is owned by YouTuber KSI – was having its third event on Saturday in Austin, Texas. The main event of the card was supposed to see Vitor Belfort take on Hasim Rahman Jr. at heavyweight. Yet, Belfort had to pull out of the fight after he tested positive for COVID-19, and now according to the promotion, Hardy – the former UFC heavyweight fighter – has replaced Belfort.

Former UFC light-heavyweight titleholder Vitor Belfort is out of his return this weekend. ‘The Phenom’ has had a strange career since exiting the leading MMA promotion in 2018. Following a knockout loss to Lyoto Machida in Brazil, Belfort announced his retirement. By the end of the year, he announced that he wouldn’t be hanging up the gloves after all.

Floyd Mayweather was in action for another exhibition bout on November 13 in Dubai. Deji Olatunji, Mayweather’s opponent, was coming off a pro boxing victory over fellow YouTuber Fousey back in August. Olatunji didn’t stand much of a chance against a pro boxing Hall of Famer, however. Mayweather hurt Olatunji with a left uppercut in the sixth round and the referee had seen enough following a barrage of punches. As expected, this was a one-sided affair.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes Jake Paul is deserving of respect. ‘The Problem Child’ made his return to the boxing ring last Saturday night on Showtime pay-per-view. In his comeback appearance, Paul continued his war against MMA legends, as he faced former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva.
