Mixed martial arts is a nasty business. Fighters routinely sustain nasty injuries in their bouts, from cuts, to hematomas, and of course, broken bones. That latter thing is just what we saw on the postlims of Bellator 226 last weekend, when Albert Gonzales took on Tyson Miller. It was a sequence not unlike the final moment of the infamous Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman 2 fight, which left Silva with a leg like cooked spaghetti after Weidman checked one of his kicks. This time around, it was Gonzales who threw the kick, and was ultimately left writhing on the floor after Miller checked it.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier both made weight for their anticipated UFC 242 lightweight title fight. The Dagestani undisputed champion Nurmagomedov hit the 155-pound mark when he weighed in this Friday Morning in Abu Dhabi. Shortly thereafter, the interim champ Poirier did as well.

On Wednesday afternoon, at the UFC 242 open workouts, Poirier took to the stage, where he flaunted his deadly striking arsenal with one of his coaches.

The incident took place in Denver, Colorado back on June 15, 2018. A fight broke out outside of the Ginn Mill bar, and Guillard became involved when he brutally knocked out a civilian who was part of the commotion.

The welterweight fighters went at it for three rounds, with Diaz ultimately securing the unanimous decision victory. In the midst of the fight, Diaz certainly did his Stockton homies proud with his signature move.

Yesterday, footage was released showing Conor McGregor punching an older man in the face in a pub in Ireland after the man apparently refused to drink the Irish fighter’s Proper No. Twelve whiskey. Speaking to Submission Radio, UFC welterweight contender and potential McGregor opponent Jorge Masvidal shared his thoughts on the incident. “I thought it was maybe photoshopped cause the dude looked old as fu**, right?” he said.
