Former UFC star Darren Till is weeks away from a long-awaited return to combat sports after a long hiatus from competition. Till parted ways with the UFC after a loss to current UFC middleweight titleholder Dricus du Plessis in 2022. He hasn’t fought since but has been linked to several fights, including a Bare Knuckle FC showdown against Mike Perry.

UFC middleweight contender Michel Pereira is helping those suffering from the recent flooding in southern Brazil. Thousands have been forced from their homes in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil in recent weeks due to relentless flood waters. As of this writing, at least 116 people have died in the disaster, and a few hundred Brazilians are missing.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski has booked his 42nd Octagon appearance for UFC 303. Arlovski (34-23 MMA) made his promotional debut way back in November of 2000 at UFC 28. It was in 2005 that Arlovski earned the title of UFC heavyweight champion by defeating Tim Sylvia (31-10 MMA) at UFC 51.

UFC CEO Dana White was quite pleased with UFC St. Louis overall, but there’s one fight that stood out in his mind, and not in a good way. Waldo Cortes-Acosta derailed the hype train of former Olympian Robelis Despaigne on the opening main card fight of UFC St. Louis. Cortes-Acosta was in control throughout the fight and earned a unanimous decision victory. While it was a one-sided showing, Dana wasn’t impressed in the slightest following Cortes-Acosta’s efforts.
