UFC women’s bantamweight contender Ketlen Vieira explained why she took a cautious approach against Miesha Tate at UFC Vegas 43. Vieira defeated Tate via unanimous decision in the main event of Saturday’s UFC Vegas 43 card, but the fight was far from exciting for the fans. The fighters stood in the center of the Octagon and traded strikes, but the overall pace of the fight was not the highest. In the end, it was a close fight, but one that Vieira was able to win by unanimous decision. On paper, this is the biggest win of her MMA career and she is close to the top of the division right now and close to getting a title shot against the champion, Amanda Nunes.

Muhammad was obviously not pleased that McGregor had made some negative comments about him and he waited for the perfect opportunity to return fire and get the last laugh against someone who has trolled him.

UFC Vegas 43 winner Adrian Yanez responded to the callout from divisional rival Sean O’Malley following his big win over Davey Grant. Yanez defeated Grant in the “Fight of the Night” at Saturday’s UFC Vegas 43 card. It was a fantastic fight between two of the best bantamweights in the sport as both Yanez and Grant stood in the pocket and traded for 15 minutes. Yanez ended up edging out the split decision at the end of the fight, and he improved to 4-0 overall now in the UFC. He has three knockout wins and now, a decision win over Grant as he nears the top-15 at 135lbs.

Jake Hager has refuted Jon Jones’ claim that they are set to compete in a grappling match at next month’s ‘Fury Pro Grappling’ event. The official weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 43 took place on Friday in Las Vegas, and 24 of the 24 fighters scheduled to compete have made weight. In the main event of UFC Vegas 43, both women’s bantamweight headliners Miesha Tate and Ketlen Vieira successfully made weight. Vieira stepped onto the scale at the maximum non-title limit of 136lbs for a women’s bantamweight contest, while Tate was just a smidge below her at 135.5lbs. And with that, the main event of Saturday’s UFC card is official.
