UFC lightweight Michael Chandler has given his official predictions ahead of this weekend’s huge UFC 270 pay-per-view. On Saturday night, both the UFC heavyweight title and UFC flyweight title will be on the line when the Ultimate Fighting Championship emanates from Anaheim. Francis Ngannou will defend his title against Ciryl Gane whereas Deiveson Figueiredo will attempt to wrestle back control of the 125-pound division from Brandon Moreno.

Frevola had a rough 2021 as he went 0-2, losing a decision to Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 257 and suffering a seven-second KO loss to Terrance McKinney at UFC 263. However, he fought Tsarukyan on a days’ notice and took the McKinney fight on a couple of days’ notice as well.

Paddy Pimblett will not be fighting Jared Gordon after all. On Tuesday, Dana White revealed on The Dave Portnoy Show on Barstool, Pimblett was going to return at UFC London on March 19 against Jared Gordon. However, both managers claimed that was not true.

In the main event of the first pay-per-view card in 2022, Ngannou is set to defend his heavyweight title for the first time against the interim champ, Ciryl Gane. It’s a fascinating fight due to them being ex-training partners, but a big storyline for the scrap is the fact this is Ngannou’s last fight on his contract.

Kay Hansen was supposed to fight on January 15, but after hearing UFC 270 was the week after in Anaheim, she made it clear she wanted to be on that card. Hansen is from Anaheim and of course wanted to be a part of the card but her managers initial request to have the bout moved didn’t happen. However, she decided to take matters into her own hands and messaged Dana White herself to move the fight, and just a day later she got her wish.
