UFC featherweight Max Holloway doesn’t believe himself or Alexander Volkanovski is the greatest featherweight ever. ‘Blessed’ is set to collide with ‘The Great’ this Saturday at UFC 276 in Las Vegas. It’ll be the third time they’ve clashed, as they had two prior fights in 2019 and 2020. Both bouts were won by Volkanovski by decision, in razor-thin contests considered some of the best of the year.

Adesanya is set to defend his middleweight title in the main event of UFC 276 as he faces Jared Cannonier. Although the champ has only been in the UFC since 2018 he has already cleared 50 clean drug tests and when he got his jacket he took a small jab at Jones.

Valerie Loureda retires from MMA, signs with WWE

Bellator MMA prospect Valerie Loureda has decided to hang up the gloves. The 23-year-old has been a star for the Showtime-based company since her 2019 debut. In the Bellator cage, she’s scored four victories in five fights. Her most recent outing came at Bellator 271 in November 2021, where she defeated Taylor Turner via split decision.

Tyron Woodley is saying he would accept a fight with Israel Adesanya if it was offered to him by Dana White and the UFC. Woodley (19-7 MMA), after a four fight losing streak against Vicente Luque (21-8 MMA), Colby Covington (17-3 MMA), Gilbert Burns (20-5 MMA) and Kamaru Usman (20-1 MMA) was released from the UFC in 2021 as his contract was up. It was to be the end of an eight-year relationship with the UFC that began back in 2013.

While he may have been denied entry into the United States ahead of their scheduled press conference, it does seem as if Tommy Fury is still hellbent on trying to end the rise of Jake Paul.
