Geoff Neal always knew he was going to fight Vicente Luque and he’s quite happy with how it played out. Neal and Luque were the co-main event of UFC Vegas 59 two weekends ago and Neal scored a third-round KO. However, in the first round, Neal appeared to have Luque hurt but he didn’t want to rush anything as he knew the Brazilian was still dangerous.

Paige VanZant is not a fan of BKFC pulling her from her BKFC 27 fight on Saturday in London, England. VanZant was supposed to serve as the co-main event against Charisa Sigala in a pivotal fight for her BKFC career. It was the last fight of her deal and David Feldman had said if ’12 Gauge’ lost that would be it for her career.

Martial arts and cannabis entrepreneur ‘Mighty Matt’ Staudt recently announced the completion of the private sale of half his ownership in the legendary brand High Rollerz Jiu Jitsu. Based on a social media post made by Matt dated July 14th, with this sale he has officially passed the reigns of running the business and shows to the purchasing party but remains a shareholder of and advisor to the business.

Dana White says the UFC made a big mistake in letting Shane Burgos hit free agency and eventually sign with the PFL. Before Burgos’ UFC Long Island fight against Charles Jourdain, he made it known that it was the final fight of his deal. After the event, White even said the plan was for the UFC to re-sign Burgos but the fan-favorite featherweight wanted to test free agency, and ultimately signed with the PFL.

Brendan Schaub believes UFC bantamweight contender Marlon Vera deserves a crack at gold. ‘Chito’ is fresh off his showdown with Dominick Cruz at UFC San Diego last Saturday. In that outing, Vera scored a devastating knockout of ‘The Dominator’ in round four. The loss was only the second time that Cruz has been knocked out in his career.

Chimaev is set to headline UFC 279 against Diaz in a pivotal fight for both men, as it also serves as the final bout of Nate’s existing UFC contract. With that, Chimaev admits he is surprised Diaz wants him as his final fight as he believes it’s a terrible matchup for the Stockton, native.
Paige VanZant forced out of BKFC 27 fight on Saturday in London

Paige VanZant will no longer be fighting in London, England. According to My MMA News, VanZant was forced out of her BKFC 27 against Charisa Sigala which was set to take place this Saturday in London, England. The reason for the withdrawal is not known but the plan is to rebook the fight for October 15.

Rockhold, (16-5 MMA) is preparing to get in the Octagon for a middleweight bout with Paulo Costa (13-2 MMA) this coming Saturday, August 20th at UFC 278 which takes place at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City.

TJ Dillashaw is responding after Aljamain Sterling claims he’s still using PED’s (performance enhancing drugs). It will be Dillashaw (17-4 MMA) vs Sterling (21-3 MMA) in a bantamweight bout on October 22nd at UFC 280 which takes place at the Etihad Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Champion Aljamain Sterling will seek his second title defense against TJ Dillashaw in the co-main event.

Green and Pimblett were both in attendance at UFC San Diego with Green being just a few rows behind ‘The Baddy’ when he began videotaping him and calling him out. Green was vocal about thinking Pimblett was taking easy fights and hopes he steps up to the plate and faces him.
