Sean O’Malley is weighing in on a rumored UFC bantamweight title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo. It was Ali Abdelaziz, the president and founder of Dominance MMA who recently reported that Henry Cejudo (16-2 MMA) would make his comeback against Aljamain Sterling (22-3 MMA) for the UFC banatamweight title in 2023.

During the fight, Abdelaziz passed through the barriers and went into a neutral corner to give Harrison advice. That, of course, is not legal and Davis is not happy with it and during the fight got the commission to stop it.

It was a fight he was losing but in the final minute, he landed the head kick beautifully, and right after the scrap, all sides agreed to run it back right away, likely in the UK.

The Swede was confident he would dethrone Pereira and wanted to fight him at UFC 282 on December 10. However, Pereira was still medically suspended so instead he asked the UFC to face Chimaev at UFC 283 in Brazil on January 23 – but the fight would be at light heavyweight.

Kennedy had a successful stint under Strikeforce, going 6-2, with wins over notable names such as Robbie Lawler and losses to Ronaldo Souza and Luke Rockhold. The San Luis Obispo native fought inside the UFC from 2013 – 2016 with a sizeable win over Michael Bisping. Kennedy’s last fight with the promotion went down at UFC 206, where he was finished in the third round by Kelvin Gastelum.

Following the victory, after being presented with the belt, Khabib laid his gloves down in the center of the Octagon, a traditional gesture indicating retirement from the sport.

Kamaru Usman (20-2 MMA), Justin Gaethje (23-4 MMA) and Henry Cejudo (16-2 MMA) were all photographed at the Russian Special Forces University, which is a private academy in Gudermes, Chechnya.

Javier Mendez, the coach of Islam Makhachev, doesn’t like how highly ranked his pupil is in the pound-for-pound rankings. Makhachev is ranked second in the UFC’s official pound-for-pound rankings following his submission win over Charles Oliveira to win the lightweight title. Yet, before the fight, Makhachev was not even in the pound-for-pound rankings so his coach doesn’t like how quickly, and how high the champ was put on the pound-for-pound list.
