Former UFC title challenger Nate Diaz was not impressed by Logan Paul’s trash talk during today’s Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight. Jake Paul (6-1 Boxing) and Tommy Fury (9-0 Boxing) finally squared off inside of the squared circle earlier this evening at Diriyah Arena in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

UFC President Dana White isn’t exactly putting much thought into the rumors surrounding the power Conor McGregor has been given as a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter” season 31. McGregor will coach opposite Michael Chandler, and the two will go one-on-one at some point this year. Recently, UFC welterweight Gilbert Burns accused McGregor of having his teammate, Loik Radzhabov, kicked off of TUF 31 in favor of his own selection. Well-known MMA manager Daniel Rubenstein also accused McGregor of having three of his fighters: Ken Cross, Mitch Ramirez, and Brandon Jenkins removed from the show.

Bellator President Scott Coker believes that a slew of champions under his banner are better than the UFC’s titleholders. Coker and UFC President Dana White aren’t exactly bitter enemies, but the two have thrown verbal jabs at one another. In a 2018 lawsuit deposition, White said every promotion Coker touches has failed.

UFC President Dana White heaped praise on Tatiana Suarez following her first fight in nearly four years. Suarez collided with Montana De La Rosa on the main card of UFC Vegas 70. This was Suarez’s first bout since June 2019. She had been sidelined due to issues with her neck and knee. Suarez didn’t let the inactivity bring her down against De La Rosa, as she secured the second-round submission win.

UFC President Dana White is well aware of the rise of Erin Blanchfield. Blanchfield is quickly emerging as a top contender in the UFC women’s flyweight division. She’s fresh off a second-round submission finish over Jessica Andrade at UFC Vegas 69. The win earned Blanchfield a “Performance of the Night” bonus. Blanchfield was expecting to meet Taila Santos, but she was removed from the card and replaced by Andrade on just one week’s notice.

UFC President Dana White wants to book Islam Makhachev vs. Alexander Volkanovski 2, but not right now. Volkanovski, the reigning UFC Featherweight Champion, challenged Makhachev for the UFC Lightweight Championship in the main event of UFC 284 earlier this month. After five rounds of thrilling action, Makhachev was awarded the unanimous decision victory.

The Octagon remained in Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 70 event, an eleven-bout fight card headlined by Brendan Allen vs. Andre Muniz. Tonight’s middleweight main event proved to be a coming out party for Brendan Allen. ‘All In’ was able to get the better of the striking battle with Muniz in rounds one and two and was also able to get the fight to the floor with a timely takedown. Then, in round three, Allen was able to secure another big takedown and promptly went on to secure a rear-naked choke finish.

Tonight’s UFC Vegas 70 event was headlined by a middleweight contest featuring Andre Muniz taking on Brendan Allen. Muniz (23-5 MMA) entered the contest sporting a nine-fight winning streak, his latest being a unanimous decision victory over Uriah Hall in July of last year. ‘Sergipano’ had gone a perfect 5-0 under the UFC banner ahead of tonight’s matchup.

Tonight’s UFC Vegas 70 main card features a women’s flyweight fight between Tatiana Suarez and Montana De La Rosa. Suarez (9-0 MMA) will be returning to action for the first time since June of 2019, where she defeated Nina Nunes by unanimous decision. That win was preceded by a TKO victory over former UFC champion Carla Esparza.

Tonight’s UFC Vegas 70 event was supposed to be headlined by a key light heavyweight matchup featuring Nikita Krylov taking on Ryan Spann. Unfortunately for fight fans, news just broke that Krylov has been forced to withdraw from the contest due to illness.

The Octagon remains in Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 70 event, a twelve-bout fight card headlined by Nikita Krylov vs. Ryan Spann. Krylov (29-9 MMA) will enter tonight’s main event with hopes of extending his current win streak to three in a row. ‘The Miner’ is coming off back-to-back victories over former division title challengers Volkan Oezdemir and Alexander Gustaffson, the latter of which was a TKO finish (see that here).

Tonight’s BKFC 36 event is headlined by a heavyweight title fight featuring Alan Belcher challenging Arnold Adams. Belcher has gone a perfect 3-0 since entering the Bare-Knuckle Boxing scene. ‘The Talent’ scored a sensational first-round knockout victory over Frank Tate in his most recent effort last June (see that here).

PFL’s Jake Paul believes his clash with Nate Diaz will be made after this weekend. ‘The Problem Child’ is slated to return to the ring this Sunday night in Saudi Arabia against Tommy Fury. While it’ll be the first time the two share the ring, it’s not the first time they’ve been scheduled to clash. For their two prior meetings, ‘TNT’ withdrew due to injury and visa issues.

Alexander Hernandez had to figure out why he was fighting. Hernandez broke into the UFC with an upset KO win over Beneil Dariush on short-notice. After the win, Hernandez was thrown into the deep end and has since had many ups and downs. Yet, after losing two in a row in 2022, he said he needed self-redemption, so he decided to step up on short notice to face Jim Miller at UFC Vegas 69.

Sean O’Malley will not be the backup fighter at UFC 288. On May 6, the bantamweight title is reportedly up for grabs as Aljamain Sterling will take on the former champ, Henry Cejudo. It’s an intriguing matchup but it left O’Malley without a next opponent and he revealed to ESPN that he was offered the backup fighter role but decided to turn it down.

Josh Watson figured Greg Hardy would overlook him at KnuckleMania 3. Hardy was making his BKFC debut against Watson who was 1-1 in the sans gloves promotion. When Watson was offered Hardy he was surprised, but was excited about the matchup. Yet, he knew he was likely picked because BKFC thought he would lose to Hardy.

Chris Curtis is admittedly ‘salty’ about Raul Rosas Jr.’s UFC 287 main card placement. Curtis and Rosas are both set to compete on Saturday, March 4th at UFC 287 which takes place at the Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida.
