Chael Sonnen believes that if Jon Jones fights Sergei Pavlovich, that would be deserving of a lot of praise. ‘Bones’ made his return to the octagon last month in the main event of UFC 285. There, Jones made his heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane, in his first bout in over three years. There, the former light-heavyweight champion made quick work of ‘Bon Gamin’ submitting him in round one.
Kelvin Gastelum to work with Dana White's nutritionist and make a return to welterweight

Kelvin Gastelum will be returning to his old stomping grounds. Gastelum did an interview with ESPN Deportes and revealed he has told the UFC he is planning on dropping back down to welterweight. The plan is to have his return fight in September, and the UFC was on board with the plan. Along with that, Gastelum will be working with Dana White’s nutritionist, he revealed.

Conor McGregor is sharing a sneak peak of the new ‘McGregor Forever’ documentary which drops on Netflix on May 17th, 2023. McGregor has produced documentaries before, in 2015 he released ‘Notorious’, a short film. In 2017, the movie came out ‘Conor McGregor: Notorious’, a full 90 minute depiction covering his career up to his victory over Eddie Alvarez (30-8 MMA), which earned him his lightweight title.

UFC commentator Paul Felder has issued an apology after being threatened by Bobby Green for what went down at UFC Vegas 71 last weekend. On Saturday night, Bobby Green battled it out with Jared Gordon. While Green was originally awarded a TKO finish, it was later turned into a no contest due to an accidental headbutt on Gordon. In the aftermath, Bobby was infuriated with the decision – and he was also pretty upset by Paul Felder’s commentary.

In the main event of UFC Vegas 71, a battle of top-five heavyweights went down as Sergei Pavlovich took on Curtis Blaydes. Pavlovich was riding a five-fight win streak and was coming off a 54-second TKO win over Tai Tuivasa. Prior to that, he picked up a 55-second TKO win over Derrick Lewis and also knocked out Shamil Abdurakhimov in the first round. Blaydes, meanwhile, was on a three-fight win streak as he had previously beat Tom Aspinall after the Brit tore his knee just seconds into the fight.
Coroner reveals UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar died of accidental fentanyl overdose

The cause of death for UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar has been released. According to the Clark County (Nev.) coroner’s office, they ruled Bonnar’s death accidental from “Fentanyl, Parafluorofentanyl and Mitragynine intoxication” in an email sent to MMA Fighting after a public records request following his death back in December.

Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway is still hoping for a second meeting with Conor McGregor. ‘Blessed’ returned to the octagon earlier this month in the main event of UFC Kansas City. There, Holloway faced the fastly-rising Arnold Allen, who entered the contest on a 12-fight winning streak. However, the winning streak would end there, as the Hawaiian won by unanimous decision after five hard-fought rounds.

Former UFC title challenger Nate Diaz has been charged with second-degree battery stemming from a brawl over the weekend. The Stockton native has been out of action since a submission win over Tony Ferguson in September. That fight was the last of Diaz’s contract with the UFC, and he quickly teased that he would head to the boxing ring next. In October, the fan-favorite attended Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva and nearly got into a brawl with the YouTuber’s team.
