Kevin Lee is not happy to be having his return fight at the UFC Apex. Lee was released from the promotion following his decision loss to Daniel Rodriguez, which marked his second defeat in a row. Although he thought part of his release was due to having the same manager at Francis Ngannou, he ended up signing with Eagle FC and got Ali Abdelaziz to manage him.

His family later confirmed that he suffered cardiac arrest while training jiu-jitsu and was in the ICU, but not many details were revealed.

Josh Emmett was among seven fighters to be medically suspended indefinitely following UFC Jacksonville on Saturday. Emmett was headlining the card against Ilia Topuria in a crucial fight for the featherweight division, as the winner could receive the next title shot. Ultimately, it was Topuria who won a lopsided decision as he dominated Emmett for all five rounds and even picked up a rare 10-7 round. Although Topuria dominated Emmett, both of them received indefinite medical suspensions for their five-round scrap.

Adesanya was the one who originally revealed that he did train with Du Plessis during their time at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand almost 10 years ago. ‘The Last Stylebender’ also shared that Du Plessis got the best of him in grappling, but he was the one who dominated in striking exchanges.
