This weekend at UFC 292, Aljamain Sterling will defend his UFC bantamweight championship against rising contender Sean O’Malley. It’s a match-up that has been in the pipeline for the last few months, dating back to Sterling’s win over Henry Cejudo earlier this year. Now, the two will finally get the chance to square off, and they’ll do so in Boston’s TD Garden.

Fremd knew if he lost he would be cut, but on weigh-in day, Fremd says he was struggling to lose the final pounds and even ended up dry heaving to try during his weight cut.

Heading into the scrap, Weili is a sizeable -340 favorite while the Brazilian is a +250 underdog on FanDuel. The pros are unanimous in thinking Zhang Weili will defend her belt at UFC 292 and likely will do so by stoppage in the later rounds.

That defeat was his second in a row, previously defeating Mike Breeden that April. While slated to return opposite Pete Rodriguez this Spring, Natan Levy’s return at UFC Charlotte was sadly canceled.

Earlier this month, ‘The Problem Child’ faced off with the former UFC title challenger on DAZN pay-per-view. For Jake Paul, the boxing match was a chance to rebound since suffering his first career loss to Tommy Fury in February. Meanwhile, the fight was Nate Diaz’s first time in the ring in a professional setting.

It was at UFC 291, in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson (17-6 MMA) was set to take on Michel ‘Demolidor’ Pereira (28-11 MMA) in a welterweight bout. Pereira ultimately missed weight by three pounds so their match-up never took place. According to Dana White, the UFC offered Thompson another fight but he declined.
