At this moment in time, there are very few fighters as beloved in mixed martial arts as Gilbert Burns. His last outing against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 273 won over a lot of folks with the masses being impressed by his ability to not only test Chimaev, but to almost get the win.

UFC President Dana White won’t commit to what’s next for Conor McGregor until he’s been given medical clearance. McGregor has been on the sidelines due to a broken tibia and fibula. He suffered the injury during his July 2021 trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier. The “Notorious” one underwent successful surgery and made it clear that he would take his time in the recovery process.

The story of this fight boils down to Barry’s failure to control his weapons. Barry dug his fingers into the eye of Jackson and it appeared to be blatant.
