Adesanya was asked by the hosts who he would like to fight next, and he said if it was up to him his next opponent would be Romero, the man who he says no one else at 185lbs wants to fight.

Nate Diaz believes he would’ve turned up the heat on Jorge Masvidal in the championship rounds, but Michael Bisping isn’t buying it. Diaz and Masvidal shared the Octagon inside Madison Square Garden in New York City earlier this month. The bout headlined the historic UFC 244 main event. For the first, and likely last time, the BMF championship was on the line. Before the fourth round could begin, the Octagon-side doctor waved off the contest due to cuts on Nate Diaz’s eyebrow and below his right eye.

Although Jorge Masvidal beat Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 244 to win the BMF title, Nick doesn’t consider “Gamebred” the real BMF. He says that belt should have been his from the get-go but he didn’t want to get in the way of his younger brother, Nate, pursuing it.

On Monday, Miocic said he is more intrigued by the Fury matchup than a Daniel Cormier trilogy fight. Although the lineal boxing heavyweight champion wants the fight, he says he must fight Deontay Wilder first.

Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero have been going back-and-forth at each other about a possible fight. With Paulo Costa injured, Romero called for the fight and Adesanya and his team seemed interested. They want to shut up all the fans that say Romero will be too much for him and can take him down at will.

Francis Ngannou wants another shot at the UFC heavyweight title, and believes a fight with Alexander Volkov could be the key to earning that opportunity. Unfortunately, the Cameroonian-Frenchman is convinced that Volkov is avoiding him and that the UFC is content to use him as a so-called gatekeeper. “Just for the record, Volkov turned down the fight against me twice,” Ngannou told MMA Junkie. “One was July 2017 and August 2018. He clearly denied to fight me.

The official UFC rankings have been updated in the wake of Saturday’s UFC Moscow card, and as expected there have been a few key changes — though only a few divisions were affected. Most notably, main event winner Zabit Magomedsharipov took a significant climb at featherweight on the strength of his decision win over Calvin Kattar in the main event.
