Chan Sung Jung, aka The Korean Zombie, has expressed gratitude to Henry Cejudo for his help during training camp for UFC 273. The featherweight title bout at UFC 273 will see The Korean Zombie challenge Alex Volkanovski for the right to be called champion. While Max Holloway may have be the first choice to get the shot, TKZ isn’t worried about that – and instead, he’s focusing on the task at hand.

Following his win over Robert Whittaker at UFC 271, many fans have been wondering whether or not anyone in the middleweight division is capable of beating Israel Adesanya. Henry Cejudo, a former two-weight UFC champion himself, recently offered up Chimaev as a suggestion.

Henry Cejudo says he reached out to Cody Garbrandt to give him some advice amid his recent skid. Garbrandt is coming off a KO loss to Kai Kara-France at UFC 269 in his UFC flyweight debut. It was his second loss in a row and he is now just 1-5 since winning the bantamweight title back at UFC 207 in December of 2016. Out of those five losses, he has also been knocked out in four of them, so for Cejudo, he believes Garbrandt needs to get back to his technical self that he was against Dominick Cruz.

Cejudo (16-2 MMA), retired from the UFC back in May of 2020 after beating Dominick Cruz at UFC 249. The former two-division title holder has repeatedly told the media and Dana White that he wants a shot at Alexander Volkanovski (23-1 MMA).

While he may not have fought since back in May 2020 when he successfully defended the UFC bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz, there’s still an intriguing aura that surrounds Henry Cejudo. In addition to being one of the very few two-weight world champions in UFC history, the Olympic hero also has dreams of going one step further by claiming a third world title in the UFC. However, after Max Holloway withdrew his name from a trilogy fight with Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 272, Cejudo (16-2 MMA), threw his name into the mix. Apparently a title shot against Volkanovski would be enough to bring ‘Triple C’ out of retirement.
