Darren Till has reacted after his good friend Khamzat Chimaev was bumped from the UFC main event for missing weight. Chimaev (11-0 MMA) was slated to face Nate Diaz (21-13 MMA) in the headliner of Saturday’s pay-per-view event in Las Vegas. However, after ‘Borz’ badly missed weight by 7.5lbs, Team Diaz rejected any notion of the fight taking place at a catchweight.

Darren Till will be making the walk to the Octagon for the first time in 2022 on December 10 at UFC 282. According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Till will fight Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282, with the bout being verbally agreed to. The event is expected to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with the main event TBD.

Marvin Vettori isn’t a fan of Darren Till. Vettori and Till were supposed to fight back in April of 2021, but the Brit was forced out of the contest. Since then, the Italian has taken shots at the Liverpudlian, and ahead of his UFC Paris co-main event fight against Robert Whittaker, Vettori once again blasted Till suggesting that he doesn’t think the ‘The Gorilla’ will ever fight again.
Darren Till arrested by Stockholm police for alleged DUI back in July

Darren Till has reportedly been arrested by the Stockholm police for an alleged DUI (drunk driving) back in July. According to the Swedish national newspaper Expressen, Till was arrested on July 31 after he was pulled over for speeding in a silver Audi with English registration plates. All the information is cited from a police report the newspaper was able to obtain.
