Khamzat Chimaev has made an enticing offer to Conor McGregor to train alongside himself and Darren Till. ‘The Notorious’ is currently on the comeback trail after suffering a broken leg. The injury caused him to lose his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. Despite the time away from the cage, the former champ-champ remains confident as ever.

He also wants to fight Usman in his return bout to become the first-ever three-weight world champion.

Since McGregor broke his leg in his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, he was vocal about getting a title shot in his return. Both Charles Oliveira and Dana White expressed interest in it but now, McGregor revealed he plans on going to welterweight in his return.

Henry Cejudo, (16-2 MMA) retired after successfully defending his UFC bantamweight title by TKO over Dominick Cruz (24-3 MMA) in the second round at UFC 249 in May of 2020. Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA) is preparing himself for a UFC comeback after a broken ankle which he suffered during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA). It was at UFC 264, in July of 2021, where McGregor went down to defeat against Poirier and suffered his injury. Poirier has been victorious in 2 of the 3 fights between the two.

Islam Makhachev doesn’t think Conor McGregor deserves a title shot but if he gets it, he doesn’t see it going well for him. After Makhachev reportedly turned down a fight against Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 272, Dana White said he would rebook the fight against Beneil Dariush. With that, many thought it opened up the door for McGregor to get a title shot which Islam doesn’t see happening, but if it does, he doesn’t think it ends well for the Irishman.

A Dos Anjos (31-13 MMA) vs McGregor (22-6 MMA) fight was scheduled way back in March of 2016 at UFC 196. The bout never happened as ‘RDA’ had to withdraw because of a foot injury.
