Conor McGregor comes across as quite passionate about BKFC, but the partial owner of the bare-knuckle boxing outfit was seen curiously liking a social media post centred on Alberto Blas leaving the promotion. Blas left the company as their reigning bantamweight champion and the unbeaten bare-knuckle boxer, since crossed over to BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, where he won his debut and kept his streak of first-round finishes going. In the wake of Blas announcing that he was signing to BKB, BKFC’s partial owner Conor McGregor had liked an Instagram post regarding Blas switching from one gloveless combat promotion to BKFC’s rival.

Jeremy Stephens’s attempt to become the first fighter to hand Mike Perry a loss in bare-knuckle fighting fell short of the mark at BKFC 82 last Saturday in Newark. After winning his first three bare-knuckle fights, Stephens struggled against the ‘King of Violence’ titleholder, losing by fifth-round TKO.

Mike Perry has spoken out after delivering a sensational performance at BKFC 82. Perry and fellow ex-UFC star Jeremy Stephens collided inside Prudential Center in Newark this past Saturday. “Platinum” secured a slew of knockdowns on his way to a fifth-round TKO finish. With the victory, Perry remains undefeated in bare knuckle boxing competition with a record of 6-0.

Perry (14-8 MMA, 5-0 BKFC) will be competing for the first time since earning a 60-second TKO victory over former UFC title challenger Thiago Alves in April of 2024. Prior to that, ‘Platinum’ had defeated former Ultimate Fighting and Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez in December of 2023.
