While Paige VanZant has a new multi-fight deal with Misfits Boxing, she’s not done fighting in BKFC either. ’12 Gauge’ has had a strange career since leaving the UFC in mid-2020. Paige VanZant’s deal expired after a submission loss to Amanda Ribas, and she quickly showed interest in signing with Bellator, or other MMA companies. Instead, she shocked MMA fans by signing with David Feldman’s BKFC.

BKFC women’s featherweight contender Paige VanZant is opening up on a scary stalker she had to deal with. Despite being gone from the UFC since 2021, ’12 Gauge’ is still one of the biggest names in women’s MMA. That’s largely due to Paige VanZant’s online content, and massive success on OnlyFans. However, she continues to compete in the BKFC ring and has shown an interest in a move to boxing in recent months.

Mike Perry and Thiago Alves squared off in their first meeting before their main event showdown at BKFC: KnuckleMania 4. On April 27, Mike Perry and Thiago Alves will collide in a bare-knuckle boxing showdown that promises to be explosive. Both men are undefeated in BKFC, with Perry holding a 4-0 record and Alves being 2-0. Everyone knows about the star power that ‘Platinum’ possesses, but they also know that Alves serves as one of his biggest tests to date.

Former UFC heavyweight title challenger Mark Hunt will be returning to combat sports. ‘The Super Samoan’ has had an odd last few years. Following a 2018 loss to Justin Willis, Mark Hunt parted ways with the UFC. The defeat was his third in a row, and his exit from the Dana White-led promotion was far from shocking. That partially has to deal with his lengthy lawsuit against them.

Hard-hitting fan favorites Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez will headline BKFC 56 in December. For his part, ‘Platinum’ is fresh off his role in Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis. Mike Perry was the backup fighter for the boxing match, and it appeared that his services would be needed several times. However, the fight went ahead last Saturday night, with ‘The Maverick’ winning by disqualification.

John Dodson has been taking over BKFC and he finally got a chance to fight for a world title at BKFC 48. Dodson was fighting for the inaugural flyweight title against JR Ridge and entering the fight, he had a ton of confidence that he would score a finish. He knew Ridge would try to be technical, so he wasn’t surprised when he caught Ridge by surprise with his speed and power.

Ben Rothwell is glad he was able to go a couple of rounds at BKFC 41. Rothwell was supposed to take on Josh Watson after his upset knockout win over Greg Hardy, but unfortunately, that fight never happened. Luckily for Rothwell, Josh Copeland stepped up which he was pleased with as he said it was a more anticipated fight.

Don’t expect to see Francis Ngannou in BKFC anytime soon. ‘The Predator’ is still searching for his next home in combat sports. Ngannou famously left the UFC in January after fighting out his contract with the company. In the process, he vacated the heavyweight title which was later won by Jon Jones last month at UFC 285.

Greg Hardy has signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Hardy fought out his UFC contract at UFC 272 against Serghei Spivac which he lost by first-round TKO. After being let go, Hardy said he was eager to test free agency and has even signed on to make his pro boxing debut in October, but has also inked a deal with BKFC which promotional President David Feldman is excited for.

While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, bare-knuckle boxing has enjoyed quite the resurgence over the course of the last few years. A string of promotions have worked hard to bring it back into the limelight but there aren’t many who have made as much noise as BKFC.

As per his manager, BKFC middleweight champion Thiago Alves is hoping to defend his belt against Mike Perry in June. While he may be known by many for his run in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Thiago Alves has had a solid start to life in bare-knuckle boxing. After defeating Julian Lane via split decision in September 2020, Alves proceeded to beat Ulysses Diaz due to a doctor stoppage last summer to become the inaugural middleweight title holder in BKFC.

BKFC President Dave Feldman confirmed that the future of women’s fighter Paige VanZant is “up in the air” following two straight losses. VanZant signed a lucrative free-agent contract with BKFC last year after her UFC contract expired, but so far, things have not gone to plan for her. VanZant began her BKFC career with a decision loss to Britain Hart earlier this year, before losing to Rachael Ostovich in her second BKFC fight. It now looks like with those two losses that VanZant believes that her heart might not be in the BKFC game and she is considering going back to MMA.

In 2019, at BKFC 6, Paulie Malignaggi stepped through the ropes for a bare-knuckle boxing match with MMA product Artem Lobov. Despite possessing far more pure boxing experience, Malignaggi lost a tight decision to his rival. Given the competitive nature of the bout, there was some talk of a rematch between the two. Speaking to BJPENN.com recently, Lobov confirmed that he was actually approached about competing in a boxing rematch with Malignaggi.
