Ronda Rousey recently said she’s finding her love for MMA again after posting training videos, but one UFC Hall of Famer advises fans to not be fooled. Rousey has been out of pro MMA competition since she was stopped by Amanda Nunes in 48 seconds back in late 2016. After she dominated the women’s bantamweight division and secured a perfect record of 12-0, “Rowdy” suffered back-to-back finishing losses before transitioning to the world of pro wrestling. Rousey hasn’t been under WWE contract since 2023 and she got fans buzzing with her MMA training videos.

Alex Pereira has lashed out at Magomed Ankalaev following a close run-in between the two ahead of UFC 320. In the main event of UFC 320, Alex Pereira will challenge Magomed Ankalaev for the UFC light heavyweight championship. It comes after Ankalaev was able to take the title away from ‘Poatan’ earlier this year, with many being left to wonder whether or not the Brazilian would be able to turn his fortunes around in the rematch.

In the next few weeks, we will see the release of The Smashing Machine – a movie based on the documentary of the same name from 2002, which itself is based on the life and career of Mark Kerr. Dwayne Johnson, known by pro wrestling fans as The Rock, will be playing the role of Kerr.

It was announced that Rafael Fiziev was forced out of the main event spot against Oliveira due to an injury. Gamrot was one of many lightweights who put their hat in the ring to face the Brazilian. Yet, it was Gamrot who got the shot, and his coach shared a video of the Polish contender finding out he was getting the main event spot.

Charles Oliveira will make a relatively quick turnaround to fight at UFC Rio next month. Oliveira’s return to the cage comes just months after a brutal knockout loss to Ilia Topuria at UFC 317.

Prior to 2015, UFC fighters were accustomed to signing their own sponsorship deals. Oftentimes, the fighter shorts and banners would be filled with branding. In late 2014, UFC announced a deal with Reebok that marked the end of its athletes being able to wear outside branding on their gear. While the UFC introduced compliance payouts, many argued that the freedom to secure independent sponsorships was more lucrative.
