Rampage Jackson was paid a hefty amount for his UFC 71 title fight against Chuck Liddell. Jackson was fighting in just his second UFC fight, as the Las Vegas-based promotion bought his contract after he had one fight in WFA. In his promotional debut, he beat Marvin Eastman by KO to get a title shot against Liddell.

Wanderlei Silva has responded to a challenge made by his old rival Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. The feud between Silva and Jackson certainly has its place in MMA history. Back in November 2003, “The Axe Murderer” stopped Jackson via TKO. In their second encounter back in late October 2004, Silva brutally knocked “Rampage” out with knee strikes. Both fights were held under the Pride FC banner.

It appears that former UFC champion Rampage Jackson will finally be boxing Shannon Briggs. The former UFC champion hasn’t been seen in action since a knockout loss to Fedor Emelianenko in late 2019. That bout was the last of Rampage Jackson’s deal with Bellator, and the company declined to re-sign him following the defeat. For a long time, it appeared that he was done fighting.

It seems that Shannon Briggs and Rampage Jackson will get to face off in the boxing ring after all. ‘The Cannon’ and the former UFC champion have teased a potential fight against each other for years now. In 2021, Shannon Briggs and Rampage Jackson even coached in the short-lived Triller Triad Combat, against one another. At the time, the two heavyweights stated that a fight between the two was on the books for 2022.

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson has confirmed his comeback fight. The fan-favorite has been out of the cage for nearly four years, last fighting in Bellator. In December 2019, Rampage Jackson traveled to Japan to face Fedor Emelianenko. In the main event of Bellator 237, ‘The Last Emperor’ easily scored a first-round knockout victory.

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson is again targeting Darill Schoonover. The former titleholder was last seen at Bellator 237 against Fedor Emelianenko. In the December 2019 bout, Rampage Jackson suffered a first-round knockout loss. That fight was the last on his Bellator contract, and the promotion declined to re-sign him after the defeat.

The former champion has been out of action since a December 2019 clash with Fedor Emelianenko. ‘The Last Emperor’ wound up scoring a knockout win over Rampage Jackson that night, finishing him in the first. That fight was the last bout on the latter’s contract, and he became a free agent after the Bellator 237 defeat.

Bob Sapp and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson teamed up for a Siamese boxing match at Fight Circus 6 and it was quite the spectacle. Jackson and Sapp took on promoter Jon Nutt and Woody in Phuket, Thailand this weekend. Things went off the rails quickly in hilarious fashion, as one would expect. Jackson and Sapp landed a knockdown in the first round. In the second stanza, however, “Rampage” and Sapp delivered some punches to the referees. One official wasn’t about to take this lying down, as he pushed “Rampage” and Sapp to the corner and even went for a single-leg takedown on Jackson.

Quinton Jackson says rigging MMA fights has happened, and he knows of a few. Many fans and conspiracy theorists have often said MMA fights are fixed, and those claims have only furthered with the rise of Jake Paul and his boxing matches. Although Jackson says he hasn’t heard of UFC fights being fixed, he hints at former PRIDE fights that featured pro wrestlers being fixed, as well as pro boxers.

Rampage Jackson believes Jon Jones is the dirtiest fighter in MMA. Jackson and Jones fought at UFC 135 in 2011 for the light heavyweight title with ‘Bones’ winning by fourth-round submission. However, Jackson says he was frustrated with Jones’ knee kicks and after watching him progress in his career, he believes Jones is the dirtiest fighter in MMA.

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson (38-14 MMA) last fought in December of 2019 where he was defeated by Fedor Emelianenko (40-6 MMA) via TKO at Bellator 237. It was to be his last fight under the Bellator banner.
