UFC heavyweight king Francis Ngannou has named who he believes to be the best striker in mixed martial arts. When we’re talking about some of the most fearsome strikers in the sport, Francis Ngannou is one of the first names that comes to mind. “The Predator” has finished just about everyone of note that he’s climbed into the Octagon with and while there have been a few speed bumps along the way, he’s still managed to persevere and position himself as the “baddest man on the planet” after winning the title earlier this year.

FURY Pro Grappling 3 produced another fascinating evening of entertainment on the mats on Thursday with a whole host of familiar faces taking part. Some were victorious and others fell short but given the relative stakes, it was still a nice showcase for everyone involved.

Colby Covington believes Oliveira’s recent victory over Poirier at UFC 269 has had a negative effect on the legacy of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Prior to the fight, Poirier (28-7 MMA) was listed as the betting favorite with many fans predicting he’d be victorious over Oliveira (32-8 MMA). Former UFC referee John McCarthy has criticized Eagle FC for booking a fight between Diego Sanchez and Kevin Lee. It was announced recently that former UFC fighters Diego Sanchez and Kevin Lee will, in fact, meet in a 165-pound clash as part of Eagle Fighting Championship’s expansion into the United States. The collision is set to take place in March down in Miami, Florida which will be the host city for the majority of EFC’s events in America.

In addition to being released from his contract with the UFC, he also managed to find a new home with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagle Fighting Championship. Over the holiday weekend, it was reported that the Paul-Woodley 2 Showtime boxing pay-per-view did under 65,000 buys. If that is true that, it is obviously a horrible look for Paul who previously claimed he surpassed a million buys for his bout against Ben Askren.
