Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor have taken to Twitter in a war of words. Could it be that Cejudo is adding himself to the list of fighters that are waiting in line for The Irishman to return to the Octagon. ‘Triple C’ (16-2 MMA) last fought in May of 2020 at UFC 249 defeating Dominick Cruz (24-3 MMA) by second round TKO to defend the bantamweight title. Following that bout, Cejudo announced his retirement from mixed martial arts, but has since indicated his wish to get back in the cage this year.

Ben Askren has reacted after Jorge Masvidal attempted to clarify a previous threat he had made about ending his bloodline. It was Ben Askren (19-2 MMA) vs Jorge Masvidal (35-16 MMA) at UFC 239 back in July of 2019. In the fastest and perhaps most violent knockout in the history of the UFC, it was ‘Gamebred’ who came out victorious at the 0:05 mark of the opening round.

Joe Rogan doesn’t like Conor McGregor’s callout of Kamaru Usman. With McGregor rehabbing the broken leg he sustained in his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, he had said he was going to walk into a lightweight title shot. Yet, as he continued to rehab and lift weights he got bigger and now he said he wants to fight Usman in his return as he attempts to become the first-ever three-weight world champion. However, Rogan doesn’t think it is a good idea for the Irishman.

Khamzat Chimaev wants to train with Jon Jones in the very near future. Chimaev is currently training alongside Darren Till and recently has said he is open to having Conor McGregor train with them. The Swede wants to put together an all-star team and now he hopes Jones comes and works with them as well.

Matt Brown wasn’t sure he was going to get the hometown fight at UFC Columbus. When the promotion announced they were heading back to Columbus, Brown immediately asked Sean Shelby to get him on the card. However, the UFC matchmaker told him the card was full which shocked Brown as he is one of the only fighters from Columbus on the roster.

Conor McGregor has had it with Henry Cejudo’s continuous jabs on social media. ‘The Notorious’ has been out of the cage since UFC 264 in July 2021. The former two-weight champion lost his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier via TKO after suffering a leg injury. The broken limb has forced him to be on the sidelines ever since.

After Jorge Masvidal allegedly sucker-punched Colby Covington at a restaurant in Miami, Dos Anjos called for the BMF belt to be stripped from ‘Gamebred’. He then called for Dana White and company to present him with the belt, as he thinks he is the true BMF of the UFC.

Pro fighters have reacted to Jorge Masvidal’s recent arrest. ‘Gamebred’ is now facing felony battery charges after attacking Colby Covington. Earlier this month, Masvidal and Covington squared off in the main event of UFC 272. The headliner bout was won by ‘Chaos’ via unanimous decision after outwrestling his former friend inside the Octagon. However, the rivalry didn’t end there.

On Thursday, Nurmagomedov took to social media to release a lengthy message blasting Covington after the Jorge Masvidal incident. For working with the police to possibly pressing charges against ‘Gamebred,’ Nurmagomedov says no one at 170lbs should offer to face Covington in the future.

Daniel Cormier has warned Kamaru Usman that Canelo Alvarez won’t “carry him” like Floyd Mayweather did with Conor McGregor. Usman (20-1 MMA) is eager to step in the ring with Canelo Alvarez for a boxing match-up that would pit the two pound-for-pound No. 1 fighters in their respective sports. Usman would need UFC President, Dana White to be ‘on board’ to approve such a move.

Darren Till has fired back at Israel Adesanya after the middleweight champ blasted the Brit for celebrating too much with Tom Aspinall. In the main event of UFC London, Till’s longtime friend and training partner in Aspinall submitted Alexander Volkov in the first round. After the event, Till was on top of the Octagon with Aspinall which Adesanya ridiculed him for.

Khamzat Chimaev believes it will be easier to smash ‘zero wrestling’ Israel Adesanya than Kamaru Usman. Khamzat last fought at UFC 267 in October 2021 where he defeated Li Jinglians (18-7 MMA). He will be in the cage again this coming April 9th at UFC 273 matching up with Gilbert Burns (20-4 MMA) in a welterweight bout.

On Monday, Masvidal allegedly sucker-punched Covington at a restaurant in Miami causing him to break his tooth and damage his watch. ‘Gamebred’ has since been detained by the police as ‘Chaos’ continues to work with the police over the incident.

Nate Diaz has slammed his former UFC opponents Conor McGregor and Jorge Masivdal for their recent arrests. McGregor was arrested on Tuesday evening in Dublin for alleged dangerous driving. Along with being arrested, the Irishman had his Bentley Continental GT detained and will now have to appear before Blanchardstown district court next month. He previously appeared before the same court in 2017 when he was fined €400 for speeding.
