Although knowing much about UFC newcomers is tough, Witt says he actually knows quite a bit due to the fact one of his teammates fought Quinlan on the regional scene.

UFC legend Daniel Cormier has claimed Colby Covington is dealing with some serious injuries stemming from the Jorge Masvidal attack. Back at UFC 272 earlier this year, Colby Covington beat Jorge Masvidal in a five-round decision that, at the time, seemed to settle the feud between them. However, just a few weeks later, Masvidal caught up with Covington in a Miami steakhouse and allegedly assaulted him at the scene.

After the fight, Pettis said Oliveria’s striking was getting better but he didn’t think the Brazilian would turn his career around and eventually become the UFC lightweight champion.

Former middleweight UFC champion Rich Franklin says he would consider fighting again, under the right circumstances. Franklin, 47, (29-7 MMA) has not entered the Octagon since November of 2012 where he went down to defeat against Cung Le (9-3 MMA) in a middleweight bout.
