Reigning UFC Flyweight Champion Brandon Moreno is quite happy that his rivalry with Deiveson Figueiredo is over. Moreno and Figueiredo fought for the fourth time in the co-main event of UFC 283. Moreno scored the third-round TKO finish to become a two-time UFC Flyweight Champion.

UFC Hall of Famer and color commentator Daniel Cormier believes Jorge Masvidal has his back against the wall and needs to win his next fight. Masvidal will meet Gilbert Burns on the UFC 287 card scheduled for April 8. Headlining that card will be a UFC Middleweight Championship bout between titleholder Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya.

He hasn’t earned a victory inside the Octagon since November 2019. Till’s most recent bout took place at UFC 282 back in December 2022. “The Gorilla” was submitted by Dricus du Plessis in the third round. The bout earned “Fight of the Night” honors.

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou isn’t jumping the gun on a Tyson Fury fight in 2023, but he’d like to get a deal in writing before “The Gypsy King” battles Oleksandr Usyk. Ngannou and Fury have expressed interest in throwing down at some point. Fury has laid out the rules for the bout, which calls for a boxing match, but with 4-ounce gloves. He suggested International Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson serve as the special referee.

Mike Perry’s wish might just come true if things once again go awry before Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are scheduled to collide. Back in January, Paul took to social media to claim that Fury didn’t want to fight him and that it may be Perry’s lucky year. Ultimately, Paul vs. Fury has been booked for February 26 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With that said, it never hurts to have a plan B.
