UFC President Dana White isn’t exactly putting much thought into the rumors surrounding the power Conor McGregor has been given as a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter” season 31. McGregor will coach opposite Michael Chandler, and the two will go one-on-one at some point this year. Recently, UFC welterweight Gilbert Burns accused McGregor of having his teammate, Loik Radzhabov, kicked off of TUF 31 in favor of his own selection. Well-known MMA manager Daniel Rubenstein also accused McGregor of having three of his fighters: Ken Cross, Mitch Ramirez, and Brandon Jenkins removed from the show.

Bellator President Scott Coker believes that a slew of champions under his banner are better than the UFC’s titleholders. Coker and UFC President Dana White aren’t exactly bitter enemies, but the two have thrown verbal jabs at one another. Tonight’s middleweight main event proved to be a coming out party for Brendan Allen. ‘All In’ was able to get the better of the striking battle with Muniz in rounds one and two and was also able to get the fight to the floor with a timely takedown. Sean O’Malley will not be the backup fighter at UFC 288. On May 6, the bantamweight title is reportedly up for grabs as Aljamain Sterling will take on the former champ, Henry Cejudo. It’s an intriguing matchup but it left O’Malley without a next opponent and he revealed to ESPN that he was offered the backup fighter role but decided to turn it down.
