Gilbert Burns is gracious in defeat and injury. Burns was in action this past Saturday night (May 6) for a welterweight showdown against Belal Muhammad. The action emanated from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. It was quite clear that Burns was bothered by a left shoulder injury, which allowed Muhammad to pick him apart on the feet en route to a unanimous decision victory.

Sean O’Malley doesn’t agree with the outcome of the UFC 288 main event title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo. Sterling put the UFC Bantamweight Championship on the line against Cejudo inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey this past Saturday (May 6). The fight was highly competitive and went the distance. Sterling emerged victorious via split decision.

UFC President Dana White has given his reaction to the Belal Muhammad vs. Gilbert Burns fight. Muhammad and Burns shared the Octagon inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on May 6. This welterweight tilt served as the co-main event and had title implications. UFC fighter Tony Ferguson arrested for DUI after vehicle crashes into two cars

Former interim UFC Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson has been busted for DUI following a multi-vehicle crash. “El Cucuy’s” pickup truck crashed into two parked cars outside of a nightclub in Hollywood. The truck rolled over, and there were two people inside the vehicle who had to be pulled out by the fire department.

The Octagon returned to Newark, New Jersey, for tonight’s UFC 288 event, a -bout fight card headlined by Aljamain Sterling vs. Henry Cejudo. The highly anticipated bantamweight title fight went the full twenty-five minutes. Aljamain Sterling appears to get the better of Henry Cejudo in the opening round, but ‘Triple C’ came back and made things competitive in round two. However, ‘Funkmaster’ appeared to pull away in rounds three and four, leaving many fans believing Cejudo needed a finish in the fifth and final round. Although the former champ got the better of Sterling in the final five minutes, it was not enough to sway the judges in his favor.
