Khamzat Chimaev set for surgery, vows to "smash somebody" in his UFC return

Khamzat Chimaev will be going under the knife after suffering an injury during his UFC 294 fight with Kamaru Usman. Chimaev (13-0 MMA) squared off with Usman (20-4 MMA) in a middleweight contest that served as the co-main event of October’s pay-per-view event in Abu Dhabi. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ had accepted that bout on just ten days’ notice, this after Khamzat’s original opponent Paulo Costa was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Following the win, he was called out by former Bellator fighter, Dillon Danis.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill has opened up on his recent domestic violence arrest. It was reported on Friday by TMZ Sports that Hill was arrested in Michigan earlier this week for domestic violence against his brother. According to the report, Hill was booked at a Kent County jail on Monday at around 1 AM and released later that evening, at 7:35 PM. During that time, prosecutors formally charged Hill with one count of misdemeanor aggravated domestic violence.
