Brendan Schaub could be making a comeback. Schaub retired from MMA back in 2015 after he went 10-5 as a pro but ended his career on a two-fight losing skid. His last fight was a TKO loss to Travis Browne at UFC 181 in December 2014 and he decided to walk away from the sport.

Conor McGregor has revealed his two-fight plan. McGregor hasn’t fought since July 2021 when he broke his leg during his trilogy match against Dustin Poirier. Since then, he withdrew from the USADA testing pool and has still yet to enroll back in. Yet, despite not being in the pool, McGregor has been vocal in trying to secure his next fight.

UFC lightweight contender Conor McGregor has gone back and forth with Charles Oliveira. ‘The Notorious’ is currently attempting to book his return to the cage. Conor McGregor has recently called out Justin Gaethje, despite coaching the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter with Michael Chandler. While the Irishman made headlines with the callout, ‘The Highlight’ hasn’t shown much interest in the bout.

Ahead of his return, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has taken aim at Michael Chandler. The Russian has been out of action since his clash with Alexander Volkanovski in February at UFC 284. There, the two champions put on a show, going back and forth for 25 minutes. At the conclusion of the five-round contest, Islam Makhachev retained the lightweight gold by unanimous decision.

Days out from his return against Nate Diaz, boxing star Jake Paul has taken a bit of a shot at his brother, Logan Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ is set to return to the ring on Saturday night opposite the UFC legend. For Jake Paul, the boxing match will be the first ten-rounder of his career. Furthermore, it’ll also be his first appearance since suffering the first defeat of his career to Tommy Fury in February.

Dwayne Johnson took it a step further than meeting Themba Gorimbo. After Gorimbo revealed he had seven dollars in his bank account prior to this first UFC victory. He also said he would auction off his fight kit so he could help fund the building of a water well in his native village in Zimbabwe. His story caught the attention of ‘The Rock’ who went to Gorimbo’s gym and visited him.

Nate Diaz and Jake Paul’s teams got into an altercation after their faceoff on Thursday. Diaz and Paul had their press conference to help promote their fight on Saturday night in Dallas, Texas. The lead-up to the scrap hasn’t had much promotion, which Paul has been disappointed about. Yet, after Jake Paul and Nate Diaz had their faceoff, their teams got into a physical altercation.

Replacing Nurmagomedov is Font, who was scheduled to compete at UFC 292 in Boston in two weeks against Song Yadong, but Yadong also pulled out due to injury.

In the pay-per-view headliner, Justin Gaethje scored a highlight-reel knockout win over ‘The Diamond’, with Daniel Cormier sitting cage side.

After losing his first pro fight to an actual professional boxer in Tommy Fury, Paul is going back to the well and will fight Diaz on Saturday night.
