UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley believes younger fighters should be careful with management. ‘Sugar’ is slated to return to the cage this Saturday night opposite Aljamain Sterling. The fight will be Sean O’Malley’s first in nearly a year, last defeating Petr Yan last October at UFC 280. While a controversial decision win over ‘No Mercy’, it was enough for him to earn his first title shot.

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till would love to be Nate Diaz’s next boxing foe. ‘The Gorilla’ has been out of the cage since his clash with Dricus du Plessis last December at UFC 282. There, Darren Till suffered his third defeat in a row,  losing to ‘Stillknocks’ by third-round submission. Previously, the British contender had suffered losses to Derek Brunson and Robert Whittaker.

UFC lightweight contender Natan Levy gave a troll a badly needed lesson earlier this week. ‘Lethal’ has been out of the cage since December, scoring a decision win over Genaro Valdez. That defeat was his second in a row, previously defeating Mike Breeden that April. While slated to return opposite Pete Rodriguez this Spring, Natan Levy’s return at UFC Charlotte was sadly canceled.

The boxing match between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz reportedly generated over 500,000 pay-per-view buys. Earlier this month, ‘The Problem Child’ faced off with the former UFC title challenger on DAZN pay-per-view. For Jake Paul, the boxing match was a chance to rebound since suffering his first career loss to Tommy Fury in February. Meanwhile, the fight was Nate Diaz’s first time in the ring in a professional setting.

John McCarthy is explaining why he’s siding with Dana White in the Stephen Thompson pay dispute. It was at UFC 291, in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson (17-6 MMA) was set to take on Michel ‘Demolidor’ Pereira (28-11 MMA) in a welterweight bout. Pereira ultimately missed weight by three pounds so their match-up never took place. According to Dana White, the UFC offered Thompson another fight but he declined.

Pedro Munhoz says he has unfinished business with Sean O’Malley. Munhoz and O’Malley fought back in July 2022 in what served as a major step-up in competition for ‘Suga’. Early on, Munhoz had some success on the feet and out landed O’Malley 19-to-15 in the first round. In the second round, Sean O’Malley started to have more success but he accidentally eye-poked Pedro Munhoz and the Brazilian couldn’t continue so the fight was called off.

In the main event of UFC 292 from Boston, O’Malley is looking to become the new bantamweight champion when he faces Sterling. It’s an intriguing matchup and in the lead-up, many believe that if Sean O’Malley is going to win, it is because he kept the fight standing.

While never having trained for a sustained amount of time, let alone fight, Bradley Martyn has been vocal about his fighting ability. In a recent interview with Brendan Schaub, he even argued that he could beat Demetrious Johnson in a street fight.
