UFC welterweight Niko Price is quickly becoming a fan favorite for his creative and exciting finishes. It’s no wonder that Price is so exciting to watch. After all, “The Hybird” says that he tries to model his game after MMA legend Nick Diaz. Speaking to reporters backstage after his incredible upkick KO over James Vick at UFC Tampa, Price was asked if he’ll be watching the main event at UFC 244 between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal for the BMF belt. Price said he’s excited for that fight, and then gave praise to Nate’s older brother Nick for helping inspire his performances inside the Octagon.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk says she broke her foot in second round of UFC Tampa main event

Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk put on a dominant performance against Michelle Waterson in the main event of UFC Tampa, earning a lopsided unanimous decision. She did so despite suffering a nasty foot injury early in the fight. According to Jedrzejczyk, she broke her foot in the second round but managed to go the full 25 minutes with a tough Waterson anyways. One of the many highlights of Sunday’s ONE: Century double-header was a heavyweight showdown between former UFC talent Arjan Bhullar and former Cage Warriors heavyweight champion Mauro Cerilli. At Saturday’s ONE: Century card, former UFC flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson stepped into the cage with Team Lakay star Danny Kingad in the final of the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix. Johnson utilized pressure from the get-go, landing multiple takedowns and gluing himself to his opponent on the mat. As the round wore down, he threatened briefly with a kimura. When the tap failed to materialize, he climbed into full mount before a scramble ended the round. While ONE Championship fights are scored in their entirety rather than round-by-round, it was a clear victory for Johnson in the first.
