A heavyweight bout between Greg Hardy and Alexander Volkov co-headlined today’s UFC Moscow event. Hardy (5-1 MMA) was making a quick turnaround for today’s contest. The former Dallas Cowboy was last seen in action at last month’s UFC Boston event where he fought Ben Sosoli for fifteen minutes. That bout was originally ruled a decision victory for ‘The Prince of War’, but was later overturned to a no-contest due to Hardy’s use of an inhaler between rounds.

UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov says that rival Conor McGregor needs to win 10 more fights before he gives him a rematch. Speaking with reporters during a press conference in Moscow Friday ahead of the UFC Fight Night event there this Saturday, Nurmagomedov revealed that he is planning on returning to the Octagon in April. He wants to fight in Las Vegas, but will only do so if the Nevada State Athletic Commission apologizes to him for what happened at UFC 229. Otherwise, he expects to fight in New York.

Michael Bisping isn’t a fan of how Nate Diaz has handled his UFC 244 defeat. Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal ended in anti-climatic fashion for some. The two headlined UFC 244 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. Before the fourth round could begin, the Octagon-side doctor determined that the cuts on Diaz’s eyebrow and below his right eye were too severe for him to continue.

UFC light heavyweight contender Dominick Reyes looks like he’s next in line for a title shot against UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who he calls a ‘troll.’ Speaking to MMAFighting.com’s Damon Martin, Reyes spoke about a potential title matchup against Jones, which has gained traction lately after Jones said he believes Reyes is a more intriguing matchup than Corey Anderson for his next title defense. Some accounts said he was booed, others said he was applauded, while others still reported a mix of boos and cheers. According to Rogan, however, the President was absolutely booed inside Madison Square Garden.
Police arrest suspect in Aniah Blanchard case

A suspect has been arrested in connection to the disappearance of Aniah Blanchard, the daughter of UFC heavyweight contender Walt Harris. According to WSFA, police in Florida arrested suspect Ibraheem Yazeed on Thursday night. Yazeed, a 30-year-old resident of Auburn, Alabama, is now being detained without bond in Florida on behalf of the Auburn Police Division.
