McGregor took to Twitter to reminisce on this accomplishment, and was promptly ripped by Bellator’s Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, who currently holds the Bellator featherweight and lightweight belts — the same belts McGregor held in the UFC.

ONE Championship star Demetrious Johnson was recently stopped at U.S. Customs as a result of his ONE Flyweight Grand Prix title belt. “Mighty Mouse” kickstarted his run with the Asian promotion earlier this year at ONE Championship: A New Era, and ever since then he has defeated Yuya Wakamatsu, Tatsumitsu Wada and Danny Kingad en-route to securing the grand prix win.
Carlos Condit forced out of Mickey Gall fight, Gilbert Burns offers to fill in

Carlos Condit is out of his bout against Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN 7, scheduled for December 7 in Washington, DC. Condit was forced to withdraw from his welterweight bout due to injury. According to Sherdog, “The Natural Born Killer” has a damaged retina that will prevent him from fighting Gall.

Ever since then the jury has been out in regards to what the next step will be for “The Last Stylebender”, with a showdown against Yoel Romero reportedly being right around the corner.

UFC 246 takes place on January 18 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is expected to be headlined by former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor. According to a report from ESPN, the card will be topped by a heavyweight tilt between Junior dos Santos and Curtis Blaydes. This report, which cites “multiple sources,” clarifies that contracts for the fight are not yet signed, but that both men have agreed to the bout. Junior dos Santos, who is the former UFC heavyweight champion, currently holds the No. 4 spot in the division’s rankings.

Diaz was stopped via third-round doctor stoppage TKO after the cage-side doctor wouldn’t allow him to continue due to cuts above and below his right eye. It was a very controversial stoppage that has generated arguments from both sides of the coin.
