Michael Chandler vs. Conor McGregor fight to be contested at welterweight

Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor will be throwing leather this year, and the fight will be contested at 170 pounds. Taking to social media, UFC President Dana White recently announced that McGregor and Chandler will serve as opposing coaches on season 31 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” The two will collide inside the Octagon on a date that will be announced in the future.

Dustin Poirier has reacted to the news that Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will serve as opposing coaches on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter. Earlier this morning, UFC President Dana White took to social media where he announced that McGregor (22-6 MMA) and Chandler (23-8 MMA) have agreed to coach season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter, which begins on Tuesday May 30, 2023.

Michael Chandler sent out a video shortly after news broke that he would be coaching TUF 31 opposite Conor McGregor. Earlier this morning UFC President Dana White took to social media where he announced that McGregor (22-6 MMA) and Chandler (23-8 MMA) have agreed to coach season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter, which begins on Tuesday May 30, 2023.

Ever since Chandler signed with the UFC he has called out McGregor for a fight. It would be a massive bout and one that on paper would be a very entertaining one. Yet, as of right now, it has yet to happen but as both men are without a fight, Dana White has said he thinks that fight is likely to happen.
