Michael Bisping has a message for the people brawling over toilet paper in supermarket aisles. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to sweep the planet, many people have attempted to stock up on the supplies they’ll need during potential periods of quarantine and isolation. Unfortunately, this spike in demand has created shortages of many items—most infamously toilet paper—and caused some desperate people to act like animals, even starting fights in stores.

Conor McGregor has been involved in plenty of trouble outside the cage, but the Irishman and his team have recently given reason to believe he’s cleaned up his act and dialed back his partying. While only time will tell if McGregor’s partying days are over, Michael Bisping isn’t fully convinced. While making a guest appearance on MMA Tonight on Sirius XM, Bisping was asked about his thoughts on McGregor and his team saying his partying days are over. Although Bisping said he and McGregor don’t have a personal relationship these days, he compared McGregor’s situation to his own.

In the main event of this weekend’s UFC 248, UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will look to defend his title for the first time after he claimed the undisputed championship from former champion Robert Whittaker at UFC 243 last October. As Adesanya prepares for his first title defense against Yoel Romero, former middleweight champion Michael Bisping, who is now retired, believes he’d be able to beat Adesanya if he was still fighting. During an interview with MMA Tonight on Sirius XM, Bisping was asked about the upcoming main event title fight. While he praised both Adesanya and challenger Yoel Romero, Bisping said if he was still actively fighting, he’d be able to take the belt off Adesanya “pretty easily”.

For a brief period several years ago, it seemed as though Michael Bisping and Yoel Romero were on a collision course. At the time, Bisping held the UFC middleweight title, while Romero was the division’s top contender. During that phase, the pair exchanged quite a bit of trash talk. The most notable soundbite to emerge from their would-be rivalry, however, was a line from Romero that can’t really be called trash talk.

Diego Sanchez has been criticized by many members of the MMA community after accepting a disqualification victory against Michel Pereira in the co-main event. UFC President Dana White and former UFC middleweight champ Michael Bisping are not among those critics. Sanchez fought Pereira in the main event of UFC Rio Rancho last Saturday. After losing the first two rounds, he was blasted by an illegal knee in the third. When he was unable to continue, he was awarded a win via disqualification.

Michael Bisping doesn’t believe Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal staged their altercation but he does wonder if the UFC had their meetup planned. Usman and Masvidal are on a collision course. The two have been trading barbs and it led to a confrontation on Radio Row in Miami. “The Nigerian Nightmare” and “Gamebred” exchanged heated words and had to be separated during Super Bowl LIV week. UFC president Dana White said the incident forced him to prematurely announce plans to book a welterweight title bout between champion Usman and Masvidal for International Fight Week in July.

UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping has weighed in on Saudi Arabia’s reported offer to play host to Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor II. There’s no denying that a rematch between Nurmagomedov and McGregor would be significantly lucrative for both parties and the UFC. Of course, “The Eagle” must get past Tony Ferguson and that is not likely to be an easy task. If he does, however, it opens the door for perhaps the biggest rematch in MMA history.

Fight fans await the result of Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson in April. Nurmagomedov is the reigning UFC lightweight champion and will put his gold on the line against Ferguson. While “The Eagle” would set himself up for a huge rematch with McGregor if he gets past “El Cucuy,” the victory certainly isn’t a lock. Even if Nurmagomedov wins, McGregor might not wait for long.

There’s been a lot of talk about super fights over the last few years, from a potential Conor McGregor vs. Jorge Masvidal fight, to a possible scrap between Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya. Former UFC middleweight champ Michael Bisping is getting tired of it. Bisping discussed the super fight craze on his Believe You Me podcast. While he conceded he’s interested in seeing a Jones vs. Adesanya fight, as well as a fight between Jones and heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic, he admitted that he’s growing tired of this trend, and wants to see champions defend their belts against the top contenders in their weight classes.
