Tom Aspinall is ready for redemption. Aspinall is set to headline UFC London on Saturday against Marcin Tybura a year after he headlined a previous card against Curtis Blaydes and tore his knee just seconds into the fight. It was a heartbreaking result for Aspinall as he felt embarrassed by having to get carried out of the O2, and how he fought before he hurt his knee.

Hot off the press! UFC 273 will no longer have Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Marcin Tybura on the card in the heavyweight bout tomorrow night, Saturday April 9th. Jairzinho Rozenstruik (12-3 MMA) was set to match-up with Marcin Tybura (22-7 MMA) at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Marcin Tybura is on standby as he will serve as the backup fighter for the UFC London main event between Alexander Volkov and Tom Aspinall. After Russia invaded Ukraine, UFC president, Dana White said the UFC London main event was up in the air as he wasn’t sure if Volkov could enter the country. Although Volkov is now in the country, the next hurdle is having him actually fight. Some Russian athletes have been banned from other major sports competitions by other countries.

Miesha Tate is off to flyweight. Tate, the former bantamweight champion, hinted at possibly dropping to 125lbs after her friend Julianna Pena won the promotions 135lbs belt. Now, according to MMAFighting, Tate will indeed drop down in weight as she will fight Lauren Murphy at UFC 273 on April 9.

UFC heavyweight contender Alexander Volkov reacted following his unanimous decision win over Marcin Tybura on the main card of UFC 267. Volkov entered this fight as the No. 5 ranked heavyweight in the UFC, so he was defending his ranking against the No. 8 ranked Tybura in this fight. Although Volkov did not get the finish in this fight, he still did what he needed to do to get the decision victory. After winning the first round, Tybura battled back in the second to get back into the fight, but then Volkov won the third round to lock up the unanimous decision victory regardless.

A key heavyweight bout between perennial division contenders Alexander Volkov and Marcin Tybura takes place on today’s UFC 267 main card. Volkov (33-9 MMA), a former Bellator champion, enters today’s contest in hopes of rebounding from his loss to Ciryl Gane from back in June. Prior to that setback, ‘Drago’ was coming off back-to-back TKO victories over Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris.

UFC heavyweight Marcin Tybura says he is “motivated to take the next step” following his first-round TKO win over Walt Harris at UFC Vegas 28. Tybura survived an early onslaught of strikes from Harris in the first round of their co-main event fight at UFC Vegas 28 to storm back, take Harris to the ground, and pound him out with vicious punches on the mat. It was an incredible comeback by Tybura after being badly rocked early on in the fight, and it won him $50,000 for “Performance of the Night.” It also gave Tybura a five-fight win streak in the UFC heavyweight division, and he will be moving into the top-10 of the weight class after beating the No. 8 ranked Harris.

Marcin Tybura had a phenomenal 2020 and is looking to build off of that on Saturday. After being TKO’d by Shamil Abdurakhimov in April of 2019, he returned in September of that year and was knocked out in just 59 seconds by Augusto Sakai. After the losses, he had a new mindset for fighting and went 4-0 in 2020 with wins over Sergey Spivak, Maxim Grishin, Ben Rothwell, and a TKO win over Greg Hardy.

A heavyweight bout between top-15 ranked contenders Marcin Tybura and Blagoy Ivanov is the latest addition to the UFC 260 pay-per-view card. Tybura and Ivanov will clash on the UFC 260 undercard and is a welcome addition to the event given it’s a battle between two ranked fighters. The event takes place on March 27 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is headlined by UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic’s rematch against Francis Ngannou. WP Sportowe Fakty broke the news.

UFC heavyweight contender Marcin Tybura has issued a statement after his victory over Greg Hardy at UFC Vegas 17 last weekend. Tybura met Hardy on the event’s main card. The Polish heavyweight ended up scoring a decisive win in the over the former NFL player, strafing his exhausted foe from top position to set up a second-round TKO.

A heavyweight bout featuring former NFL standout Greg Hardy taking on Marcin Tybura takes place on tonight’s UFC Vegas 17 main card. Hardy (23-7-1 MMA) most recently competed on Halloween evening where he scored second round TKO victory over Maurice Greene. The win marked the former Dallas Cowboys‘ second in a row, as he had previously earned a unanimous decision victory over Yorgan de Castro.

A heavyweight bout between Greg Hardy and Marcin Tybura has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Chimaev undercard. The UFC revealed the complete 13-fight bout order for UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Chimaev, which is scheduled to take place on December 19 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Many of the fights announced were previously revealed, but one surprise was the Hardy vs. Tybura fight. The two heavyweights will clash on the main card of this event.
