Michael Bisping Lauds Game Plan Of Marcin Tybura at UFC Vegas 88

During the ESPN+ broadcast following the event, Michael Bisping had glowing praise for the game plan of Marcin Tybura (h/t Bloody Elbow).

“Tai Tuivasa came out and looked very dangerous early on, he always is [because] he’s got that knockout power, but Marcin Tybura proved to be the veteran,” explained the former middleweight world champion.

“He had more methods and ways to win the fight. [It was a] beautiful takedown, he went forward and knew he had to fight; he knew he couldn’t be overly technical. He knew he had to fight [and] get down with Tuivasa.”

Bisping said it was a “beautiful” victory for Tybura. He praised the Polish heavyweight for his ground control, his offense in top control, and his ability to find the choke. With the win, Tybura will now jump ahead of Tuivasa on the official UFC heavyweight rankings. At the very least, he will be in the ninth spot on the list.
