If you recall, earlier this week the former WWE wrestler turned Hollywood megastar, Johnson, took to social media where released a video attacking Donald Trump for his handling of the George Floyd death and the subsequent protests and outrage.

Ngannou joined the Q&A and named Johnson as one of of his inspirations. He also asked the star to join him in the gym. Johnson responded affirmatively and heaped praise on Ngannou for his skill.

Diaz, who came up short after the cage-side doctor deemed him unfit to continue fighting due to a laceration on his brow, was not particularly pleased with the way things unfolded, and even took a shot at The Rock post-fight.

Hollywood megastar and WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson had the honor of presenting the BMF Title at last night’s UFC 244 event in New York. The newly devised belt would be awarded to the winner of a welterweight bout between fan favorites Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal.

However, the main event contender, Nate Diaz, was less than impressed with the decision and threatened to ‘whoop the a**’ of the Hollywood and WWE celebrity. The ‘BMF’ bout between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz ended anti-climatically as the doctor stopped the contest in the third round due to cuts above the right eye of Nate Diaz. By this point Masvidal had maintained a dominant position and ultimately claimed the TKO win.

In keeping with earlier rumors, Dwayne Johnson — better known as The Rock — will bestow the winner of Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal’s UFC 244 fight with the BMF belt. The pro wrestler and Hollywood actor announced this exciting news in a Tuesday Instagram Live session with UFC President Dana White. “This addition to the company and the brand and to the sport, this BMF belt, I think it’s brilliant,” Johnson said (transcript via ESPN). “It’s so smart and it’s just fun, man.”
